Synapse is the annual fest a fun fest with with lots of zeal and enthusiasm .there are many clubs and societies and they provide an opportunity of self development.
I like the faculty and students here. all are very educated and informative
Mamc is among the best government medical colleges in india, so it's is highly affordable.

Dislikes

The dogs in the hostels are creating mess as they are not taken of and subsequently they died of some injuries and infectious following them.
It is stress full, sometimes all the test and tutorials and just simply study become tough.
Building are old and they are not maintained very well

MAMC: A heaven for medicos

The college has excellent academic opportunities.The syllabus and course is strictly dealt with and the professors are simple amazing
The LNJP hospital associates with MAMC boosts of a huge number of patients proving outstanding patient exposure to the medical students
The college is very old and hence has a solid alumni base .This is a plus point for those who aspire for USMLE or settling abroad.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is very old and is in a dire need of a renovations.Apart from that there are lots of dogs on the campus
The hostels are also very old.Apart from that installation of ACs is not allowed.Hemce , it leads to great difficulties in summer
The library is very old . The book collection is huge but of old editions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the first step to be a physician. To be a doctor means to be a great social help. This motivated me to take up the course. The curriculum is tough and time consuming. The faculties here are just amazing. The course is 4.5 year long with one year of compulsory internship.There are 3 term exams along with final professional exams at the end of the academic year. Apart from these , multiple monthly tests , assessments ,and vivas are also taken

Maulana Azad medical College review from a second year student

Library is really a great place to study and concentrate.
There are various societies that one can participate.
Early clinical exposure and the number of cases one can see here is really brilliant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As one might know that we have to be practical in MBBS and that's what our curriculum and methods of learning are like. They are case and approach based rather being the normal rot learning process. And that's actually great.

MAMC: A Dream College

Likes

This the premiere institution for MBBS across the India, have a good infrastructure, well trained residents, processors are superb...
Campus life is good, many societies for fun like Drama, singing, dance, literary, research and so many...
Food facilities are many nesci area, departmental canteen, NBH canteen etc...

Dislikes

Cleanliness is an issue, security staff and office clerks have bad attitude...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medicine is no doubt relevant in all times. This is one of the professions where I can repay the society and also I could live a good livelihood. The curriculum is well-designed for becoming a good physician. Specific teaching methods based on competency, small group discussion, self-directed learning, observation, and assistance make it unique. 3 monthly term exams are taken, pre-university exams, and final professional exams yearly are taken.

I liked Stebin bên concert ….the concert was really good
The atmosphere of college is very good .

Dislikes

It is very hectic to manage tune of ourselves
The schedule is very tight and the course goes very fast .
The students are not cooperating with others

MBBS provides job security. The faculty is internationally recognised and have authored many books . The exams are difficult to pass with passing percentage of 70% .the faculty student ratio is around 100:1

I liked the study environment of the college , every alternate year the neet pg topper is from MAMC
The fees of the college is very affordable unlike provate colleges
Synapse is the annual 4 day fest of the college full of fun

Dislikes

Hostels are a bit old and need to upgraded to accommodate more students
there is 75%compulsory attendance criteria to be promoted to next semester
Good and hygienic food in not available in the mess

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course constitutes 19 subjects in 4.5 yrs followed by 1 yr compulsory internship. The faculty are good ,many of them are authors of international books and are well recognised on there respective fields. The faculty student ratio is around 1 :30 . The exs are moderately difficult to pass and they help to maintain standard of the college

One of the best medical colleges in India

Likes

The faculty is very well educated and passionate to teach.
College fees and hostels are affordable.
Hospitals with great exposure is fantastic.

Dislikes

Mess is not of a great quality and needs improvement.
College funds are low considering the class strength is 250.
Hygiene is not maintained in most hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a big course with a large scope. Faculties are themselves residents and professors with excellent teaching and good faculty-student ratio. Term exams are slightly more difficult than Proffs but excellent teaching makes them easy to pass.

Very nominal fees, the academic benefits provided highly overweight the fees charged
The campus is very scenic which sets the mood for the evening walks and other leisurely activities
Hostel is pretty good with all the necessary features to lead a good student life

Dislikes

High sharing capacity of the hostel rooms
Very hectic study and academic life with a high number of assessments
Hostel are not very hygienic and are very old

Course Curriculum Overview:

I loved studying the human body since I was 12 years of age. Thus aspiring to be a doctor I prepared for NEET. The faculty-student ratio in MAMC is pretty good with it being around 1 faculty per 15 students. The faculty is highly qualified with postgraduate and doctorate degrees in various medical specialisations. The exams conducted are based on highly important topics and cover the majority of the syllabus thus truly testing our knowledge.

This course has really blessed with good friends and seniors, who are always there to support me.

Dislikes

POOR LIVING CONDITIONS: The restrooms are sometimes not cleaned for weeks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a course which has a lot of scope and future in upcoming time. There is no need to look for jobs as hospitals are always recruiting doctors. Faculty in each department is around 15 persons, hence the faculty: student ratio is 15:250 which is 3:50. For every 50 students there are three faculty members. The faculty is top-tier level, with some themselves being passed out of MAMC and other colleges. Term exams are twice a year and there are sent-ups also so three term exams. It is a bit difficult but with everyone, you don't lose hope.

Likes

Annual fest are very interesting campus.
Life is also good with proper space maintainence.
Delite cinema hall is on walking distance.

Dislikes

There is groupism criteria here like many.
Students cannot interest because of that.
Therw is no AC service provided in girls hostel.

Because I want to help those who are helpless physically and cannot afford good-quality of treatment. The ratio is about 100:250. Very well qualified teaching method is very good. Term exams are held in intervals of 3 months and assessments happen in 1 or 2 weeks. It was a little bit difficult to pass the exam.

What is your review of Maulana Azad Medical College?

One of my friends studied at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC). According to him, studying here was his best decision. It is one of the best Government medical colleges in India.

Infrastructure:

It is great being a government college.
The lecture halls are good and fully air conditioned.
It has 5 hospitals attached to it.
Hostels are a bit of a let down but they provide recreational facilities like TT rooms, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton hall and a reading room.
There is also a pool for swimming.
Gym facilities are also provided.

Academics:

The faculty here is highly experienced.
Some of the departments here are also known to be better than the AIIMS.

Clinics:

It has 5 hospitals associated with it.
Here due to lots of patients, you will encounter various cases. This will give you the appropriate amount of exposure.

College Life:

Seniors are very cooperative.
You will get lots of opportunities for personality development.
Life here can be a bit hectic but that will be helpful in the longer run.
The college has a very welcoming and accepting environment.
One of the best things about MAMC is its location. It is situated in the heart of the city.

You should also remember that the students of MAMC are the ones that make this college what it is today. The competitive nature and hectic schedule keeps you engaged and will eventually help you in the long run.
