Beyond books and Classes A happy college life

Likes

New hostel provided are good well lit and there is proper ventilation there is seperate fans and cupboard for each that could be locked which is good
The food here is nice.Some if the food like Pongal chappati and khichdi is good.They also provide non veg food like mutton on Wednesday which I like I also like sweet corn provided as snacks on Friday puffs and samosa are also provided as snacks
There is also laundry which I like becau6tgey will wash and dry out clothes in a washing machine which is very good

Dislikes

The alternative food for vegetarian is not nice.Especially on Sundays the gobi rice is not cooked prop6and I don't like it.
There is no proper place to dry clothes and even I dry it some students in seniors or working staff steal our clothes and the laundry even if we keep early it is not washed for to many buckets to wash
I don't like the teaching here because it is not interactive and lively. I feel they could teach more interactive with much clinical exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was based on clinical and patient interaction which influenced me to choose this course. I like to interact with the patients which I like .I also like the diagnosis and investigation of the patient to find the pathogenesis and rule out diseases and find out the probable disease the patient has.The curriculum is very good for real world applications like doing a CPR to save the patient and also for assessing the medical conditions of patient. The areas for improving course curriculum could be where cases are discussed and teaching could be case-oriented. The frequency of exams could be reduced like one exam in 2 weeks. The exams could be more case-oriented. But anyhow I am satisfied with the course curriculum and Teaching methods

About my college amd life in it.

Likes

Some staffs are good and helps us lot. Even in emotional support too.
Hospital have somewhat good patients flow. Amd the clinical teacher also help us to learn more and guid us.

Dislikes

Ther is no bus stop even though the college have hospital and other things.
They collect fund from us and do everything. They tell many reasons and ask for fund. Eveen every cultural program is done by us and in our funds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some staff doesn't know to teach us properly they only read the ppt. They teach is certificate skills and also test is which help us amd shows our flaws and improve us lot. Some time on posting they take us to ot and let us visualize early exposure

Likes

Things I liked about my college was the infrastructure and the facilities.
Teachers are so knowledgeable and good at teaching. They make everything clear
Practical classes were so good and they let us learn with no restriction

Dislikes

Sometimes the hostel food was not good .
The college was strict. They won't allow for frequent outing and all
During rainy season there will be a stagnant of water around the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is pretty tough and complicate all over. As all know medicine is a vast subject, we have to put more effort to cope up. And here in the campus we are trained well how to manage both curriculum and extra curriculum At first it seemed to be tough but later on practice everything was made understanding .

Likes

Comprehensive teaching and practical implementation.
Posting and interactive knowledge with the patient.
Gives a very good knowledge and skills here.

Dislikes

Could have more practical sessions to gain knowledge.
There could be bit more liberation regarding passing out the gate.
The rules for going out is pretty high could have been a bit easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course overall revolves around serving people in the community which is a prevelege in doing it. It feels very responsive to do the course and very cautions in studying properly. One of the best course to persue.

Mostly i liked part is good atmosphere also good faculties iam malayali iam afraid to go but in chennai people accept well also helping mentality also teachers help in malayalam also they give revision class in weekly
They give importance in sports and arts also they conduct cultures yearly also internal meet with other college. medical life is tough so they help through sports and they give practice also they help well in sports
For study purposes they give extra classes and practicals for exam preparation also they help in study give classes for preparation exam teacher help for prepara

Dislikes

Food is not good as a hosteler i dont like food they provide chicken in weekly
They are too strict in uniform also compelsory need to shave beard and cut hair weekly that is too frustrating
Hostel room is not good toilet is unclean also too hot in summer season

Management is an art of living and in business, it is the most important aspect of one wants to take bring business out for big. Principal of management is one our main subjects in first semester and my favourite as well Ruchi tiwari is the assigned professor for the subject and she is excellent in what she does.

About teaching its a excellent coaching given by all staffs in medicine department and regarding some facilities there are many lacks in water,food etc.
