Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is pretty tough and complicate all over. As all know medicine is a vast subject, we have to put more effort to cope up. And here in the campus we are trained well how to manage both curriculum and extra curriculum At first it seemed to be tough but later on practice everything was made understanding .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I paid for first year as a tution fee was -435000 lakh. And for hostel 1.5 lakh And for next year it was reduced. As a development fees they were collected 40000 for first year And then there is no development fees for further years.

Campus Life

At first I couldn't cope up with the studies and everything. Because everything here was new to me. Later on I get used to all of these. During my first year,I was very enthusiastic. In my first year there was a good exposure to clinical and non clinical side. There are many sports have been played here. There is sport club, dance club, cultural club. Sports played here- volleyball, cricket, basketball, foot ball, badminton, throwball, kho-kho, athletic sport and much more. Here the sport teams are going for other colleges programs to participate and the management provide good support for sports and events. Coming to the culturals our college conducting affinity (name of our cultural) for Every year. That is a big event happening during june. There will be 50+ colleges attending this event every year. Other than that there are a events like Pongal event, christmas, diwali, ramzan ,holi, onamcelebration in colleges during every festival time. Coming to the classroom, it can accommodate about 150 students at a single stretch, there is an Ac and enough ventilation. Digital class is taken. That is clear. Projector and computer are available. There is club Called Tamil mandram. It is developed by our senior for improving Tamil and culture.

Admission

The reason for choosing this college over other was the fee structure. The management is collecting less amount compared to other medical colleges. The infrastructure was good for studying and learning. I have nearly applied for about 54 colleges around tamilnadu. And I have been allotted to this college according to my marks. Even I had about 30 other choices . I chose this college due to low fees, good teaching, facilities and environment.I have never rejected by any colleges. I gave this college as my first preference and I have allotted to this college. For the admission I have written NEET entrance exam. And we should get passed and secure enough mark for getting into college. After there will be councelling call from the MGR medical University. So I registered and called upon for the counselling and I have been allotted here. And the cuttoff here was little high compared to other.

Faculty

5

There is a pretty enough faculties available for both clinical and non clinical sides. There are around 19 subjects for us. And for department there are around 10 faculties minimum available. And the students -teachers interactions are so good Every faculty make everything clear and provide maximum knowledge about the topic and everything. And coming to the exams, there will be Internal assessment for every week. And the marks will be displayed on the board of department. That made us know about our level of knowledge towards the topic

Night Life

4

Fav Hang out places in our college is the sport ground, canteen, dance club, gym, Auditorium. And our college was quite strict they are allowing us for out dates during night time. If we wanna go out We have to get proper permission from the coordinator and the warden. Our college timing is 8:30-3:30. After 3:30 we go to hostel room and the tea break is 4-5 pm after that we go for games and sports. We have sports practice upto 6 and afterwards we roam for sometime around the campus. There is a gym for girls and boys . Gym is available for morning and evening. Hang out places around here are beaches, malls, theatres, historical places and others

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
