CON GMCH PROS AND CONS

The college has enchanced my insight about h various aspects in my life. I came to know about a number of disease conditions, emotions, characteristics and a standard of optimal living.
As a student of college of nursing, we appreciate that the faculty has made a lot of efforts to improve our infrastructure. We have six Air conditioners in one lecture hall, an auditorium attached for our functions and many more labs.
I learnt that not only studies but responsibility and social interaction also plays a vital role for a nursing students. This college has moreover increased our capabilities beyond my imagination in terms of creativity, confidence and courage.

Dislikes

I think the mess facilities are not at the appropriate standards. Most of my colleagues complaints about the food being prepared in the hostel mess. Some also has experienced health issues due to this which is also a concern.
I also suggest that Panjab University has been applying an inflation in the fee structure especially examination fees. I think that being in a government medical College the fees allowance should be relieved.
Talking about the new faculties are the best ones choosen by the college of nursing officials, but the more strictness applied now, we lack upon the freedom of speech and joyment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Truly speaking I was a NEET aspirant and while preparing for the examination to get admission to the MBBS course, eventually I started having an interest in nursing. As NEET was not in my hand, I cracked the Gcet exam and entered GMCH in the course BSC NURSING 4YEARS. I chose this course as my cousin's sister influenced me to do so. I already believed that being a nurse and qualifying from this college would gain a good rapport and recognition in itself. Moreover, I would able to solve my parent's problems in the financial aspect as nursing is highly paid for in every government setting. A step forward toward my goals, GMCH COLLEGE OF NURSING has also supported me in improving my overall personality. I'm now competent enough to interact and stand for my rights which was made possible only by this college. They not only inculcate professional standards in a student but also dig into a person to unbox the qualities beneath one. The examinations held pretty moderate to solve.

Likes

Library with peace and a wonderful discipline.
Canteen which provide you the feeling of outside outlet
LT with AC which provide you a great vibe

Dislikes

No sports facilities available at campus.
No transportation facility provided for the day comers
No safety for vehicles parking in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.SC NURSING course is a best course as the curriculum consists of 4 year plan in which 1st year have 9 subjects 2nd year 7 subjects 3rd year 4 subjects 4th year 3 subjects. Also the curriculum consist some clinical hours and internship of 6th month within the hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my second option after mbbs. And it felt like a safe option. This course is helpful for finding jobs in india and foreign countries too. There are must be 8-9 teachers. And per class strength must be 35-40. All teachers are highly qualified with there degree in bsc and msc. Some are doing their phd too. Exams occur 4 times a year.

Remarks:

everything is exellent about the college from faculty o infrastructure but yes i would like to say since i m one f the earliest batches of bsc nursing course so shifting of classes and teachers keep on going which is a little difficult to adjust.
