Dislikes
- The course is not highly competitive, The crowd is not so smart
I chose this university bcz of following factors: Canada - Safe and developed country Concordia- Few options for Industrial Engineering in Canada and among all those options this is the best one considering the city, fees, and opportunities. Overall, I had a great experience.
Likes
- I liked the Infrastructure and Accessibility to it.
Dislikes
- I dislike how few professors are very biased and unprofessional.
I chose Canada mainly due to its lenient Immigration policy and I specifically chose Montreal due to its diversity and rich culture. Concordia is one of the best Universities in Montreal overall. The Campus is rich in infrastructure and is very accessible as it is located in Downtown. You have a lot of opportunities but only if you are looking for them. The city is moderate in its cost of living and Part-Time Employment opportunities.

- Nice institute with certified professors. A very solid engineering department. Location was a plus for me as well.
- Infrastructure, curriculum, and most importantly the assignments. Homework handed out in all the courses is surely pretty solid for self learning. Co-op program is also well built where a lot of companies take part.
Dislikes
- Career placements (non co-op): Very little help offered by university. Extended Credit program: 30 extra credits that all out of province students need which are all general course (pre college level or introductory level) which have no importance. Some teachers are also pretty bad.
Scholarship
Yes, International Entrance Scholarship. This is merit based given to top candidates in the entrance pool. Will be continued if you perform well academically. Amount 5000 per year.
I would describe my overall experience as satisfying. Its not the best university out there, but with the right amount of effort you can place yourself in the same pool like the graduates of major universities. Definitely one of the better universities in Canada.
Scholarship
Yes, for research assistance 27,000 CAD per year
I received a good scholarship and offer from my current professor. Generally, I'm satisfied with my master's program and I also I am happy with the current research project that I'm working on.

- I opted for Concordia University as my study destination since it is one of the most reputed universities, known for its quality academic programs. Browsing through the information brochure and the university's home page, I felt that the university with its rich blend of competent faculty, intense curriculum, and cherished history of success, will lead me to attain new heights in my career.
- The university promotes experiential learning, personalized tuition and development, along with several student support services, all of which are designed to provide the confidence to stand out from the crowd and thrive in the chosen professional field.
- The university has strong links with the private and public sectors, which would give an opportunity to learn from relevant visiting lecturers with leading careers in their subjects. I choose MEng. in Information Systems Security because it's emerging now and it's really a competitive course. It would contribute to achieve my desired goals.
Accommodation facility is good in Montreal. Rents are bit high in Downtown Montréal if compared to living far away. But, It would be okay if your share the apartments with 2-3 people. Monthly rent is around $1500 CAD for 3 1/2 apartments in Downtown Montréal and this is for unfurnished apartments.

- I chose Concordia University because of its good course, city and culture. Plus Quebec is a bit more affordable than any other provinces.
Student accommodation can cost upto 1000 CAD per month but if you share and find apt. nearby the whole expense can come upto 1500 CAD .

- I had a lot of friends and seniors. I thought it would be a good idea if they guided me through out my coursework.

- I chose Concordia because it is one of the best universities in Canada. Moreover, it is in the heart of Montreal downtown, which was a major reason why I chose Concordia. Also when compared to other alternatives, it is a bit cheaper as well.
I live by myself in a studio apartment just steps away from the university. I pay $1000 including everything (Heat, hot water, electricity, WiFi). My apartment is small but sufficient for a single person, and I have every appliance including a dishwasher and a washer dryer in my unit. The apartment came furnished, and there are street parking options available.

- Good university. This program was excellent. Also, Montreal is one of the top cities in the world for students.
University provides its accommodation but that is a bit expensive. Students generally live off campus.
Likes
- Reputed computer science program and very affordable university fees.
Onsite rooms, I guess were only available for undergrad. So I never opted for any on-campus housing. But near the university the housing was cheap and affordable with all options being available. Landlords were adjusting as they opened their homes to internal students
