Dislikes
- The course is not highly competitive, The crowd is not so smart
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. Situated in the main downtown with a lot of buildings. Give students a chance to connect with many companies through various clubs and student organizations.
Accommodation
CA $800 including rent, groceries, and other bills. We are living in a shared apartment just a 10-minute walk or 800m distance from our university. This city is not expensive.

- I liked the Infrastructure and Accessibility to it.
Dislikes
- I dislike how few professors are very biased and unprofessional.
Campus Life
There are not much of extracurricular events overall, however, there are a lot of student clubs and Organisations specific to certain communities and Cultures.
Accommodation
Accommodation in my city is very decent, I used to live in a shared apartment for 1400 CAD per month totally, So it's around 470 CAD per month which can be easily paid doing a part-time job 20 hrs a week.

- Nice institute with certified professors. A very solid engineering department. Location was a plus for me as well.
- Infrastructure, curriculum, and most importantly the assignments. Homework handed out in all the courses is surely pretty solid for self learning. Co-op program is also well built where a lot of companies take part.
Dislikes
- Career placements (non co-op): Very little help offered by university. Extended Credit program: 30 extra credits that all out of province students need which are all general course (pre college level or introductory level) which have no importance. Some teachers are also pretty bad.
Campus Life
Great, university has many clubs. From my experience you only get time to take part in them in first year or so.
Accommodation
I live off campus. Various of options available in Montreal. I am renting my own unit instead of sharing, but most people would lease a room and share the accomodation because of cost effectiveness.
Campus Life
There are many free events and also wifi is available and library is well-equipped.
Accommodation
There are some accommodating rooms but I didn't apply for that because it was more expensive than renting a room.

- I opted for Concordia University as my study destination since it is one of the most reputed universities, known for its quality academic programs. Browsing through the information brochure and the university's home page, I felt that the university with its rich blend of competent faculty, intense curriculum, and cherished history of success, will lead me to attain new heights in my career.
- The university promotes experiential learning, personalized tuition and development, along with several student support services, all of which are designed to provide the confidence to stand out from the crowd and thrive in the chosen professional field.
- The university has strong links with the private and public sectors, which would give an opportunity to learn from relevant visiting lecturers with leading careers in their subjects. I choose MEng. in Information Systems Security because it's emerging now and it's really a competitive course. It would contribute to achieve my desired goals.
Campus Life
Almost all the facilities are available that are required for students. Talking on academic terms, labs with PCs, studies rooms in library, presentation rehearsal rooms, Wi-Fi, printing facility, everything is available. Concordia has variety of sports and recreational programs both on and off-campus. There are different options available for enrollment in miscellaneous activities including dance club, gym, tennis & badminton club, and much more. There are numerous student associations as well that take care of well-being of the students. Few of them are responsible for arranging trips in and around the city. Also, there are student help and service center to provide the required information. You can explore more about the University from their website.
Accommodation
Accommodation facility is good in Montreal. Rents are bit high in Downtown Montréal if compared to living far away. But, It would be okay if your share the apartments with 2-3 people. Monthly rent is around $1500 CAD for 3 1/2 apartments in Downtown Montréal and this is for unfurnished apartments.

- I chose Concordia University because of its good course, city and culture. Plus Quebec is a bit more affordable than any other provinces.
Campus Life
Many different club and activities, the city itself has a lot of things to offer, there is always something or the other going on in the university, really necessary to stay up to date with all the events.
Accommodation
Student accommodation can cost upto 1000 CAD per month but if you share and find apt. nearby the whole expense can come upto 1500 CAD .

- I had a lot of friends and seniors. I thought it would be a good idea if they guided me through out my coursework.
Campus Life
We have a great library and a good student association that hosts many extra curricular activities. I would rate an 8/10 campus life.
Accommodation
I'd prefer renting a place with my friends than student accommodation facility.

- I chose Concordia because it is one of the best universities in Canada. Moreover, it is in the heart of Montreal downtown, which was a major reason why I chose Concordia. Also when compared to other alternatives, it is a bit cheaper as well.
Campus Life
The campus is very beautiful, not your typical University campus, but a modernized version of it. The buildings have underground connectivity, every building has WiFi connectivity, there's underground metro connectivity, and a whole lot more.
Accommodation
I live by myself in a studio apartment just steps away from the university. I pay $1000 including everything (Heat, hot water, electricity, WiFi). My apartment is small but sufficient for a single person, and I have every appliance including a dishwasher and a washer dryer in my unit. The apartment came furnished, and there are street parking options available.

- Good university. This program was excellent. Also, Montreal is one of the top cities in the world for students.
Campus Life
Campus is beautiful. All facilities are there. Extracurricular activities also take place on the campus.
Accommodation
University provides its accommodation but that is a bit expensive. Students generally live off campus.
Likes
- Reputed computer science program and very affordable university fees.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is probably the best amongst all universities because its in heart of Montreal downtown with everything nearby. All clubs, pubs and cafes.
Accommodation
Onsite rooms, I guess were only available for undergrad. So I never opted for any on-campus housing. But near the university the housing was cheap and affordable with all options being available. Landlords were adjusting as they opened their homes to internal students
