I chose this university bcz of following factors: Canada - Safe and developed country Concordia- Few options for Industrial Engineering in Canada and among all those options this is the best one considering the city, fees, and opportunities. Overall, I had a great experience.
Course Curriculum
Course Curriculum is very practical. It gives a chance to learn new software which is industry-oriented. The co-op program is also very good.
Faculty
I have not approached them for my job. However, they give students a chance to connect with many companies through various clubs and student organizations. Some of them were really good.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. Situated in the main downtown with a lot of buildings. Give students a chance to connect with many companies through various clubs and student organizations.
Placement
Bombardier, pratt, and various industrial companies as well as Deloitte, KPMG, Microsoft etc. Various software companies.
Accommodation
CA $800 including rent, groceries, and other bills. We are living in a shared apartment just a 10-minute walk or 800m distance from our university. This city is not expensive.
Exams
- IELTS: 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in any module. No other tests are required. - GSEB - 84% (10th); Maharashtra state board: 85% (12th); K J Somaiya College of Engineering: 8.9/10 - Requirements: I had to submit SoP and 3 LoRs but there was no interview. For SoPs, show the university what makes them our first choice and why this program.
