Overall for its price and age as a university, Concordia is really good. It distinguishes itself as a futuristic university that focuses on practical education and impact for a better future.

Course Curriculum

8

Engineering is very good at Concordia as they've invested a lot of money in the faculty recently. The industry considers is the best university in Montreal for practical engineering as the curriculum is practical focused rather than theory.

Faculty

7

Faculty to student ratio: 26. The faculty are very nice and approachable. The university is undergraduate focused and so, there is opportunity for research with professors. Generally, teaching is decent but they are the odd bad professors.

Campus Life

5

A lot of engineering clubs: design, advocacy and everything else. There is a lack of sports but a good gym. Very lively university with a lot of events. Free WiFi which works well and facilities are really good; brand new library and buildings.

Placement

6

They are good as there is a consistent demand for engineers. Starting salary goes from 55k to 70k depending on students' qualities and company. Still a 2nd year so no ideas of companies yet but vibrant aerospace industry here.

Sharing. Feasible. Better rates than most of Canada in Montreal so possible to stay downtown affordably with a shared space.

32000 CAD per year but credit based.
