The MHT CET Rank and Percentile Predictor 2026 helps candidates estimate their expected rank and percentile based on their raw marks.
Based on previous year data from the State CET Cell, a PCM score of 130+ marks can be in rank range of 7,000 and a percentile of 98 or above.
For PCB candidates, a score of 150+ marks is expected to fetch a 99 percentile or higher in 2026 (expected, based on 2025 CET Cell data).
- For PCM, a score of 160+ marks is expected to be within the top 500 rank in 2026 (expected, subject to candidate volume).
- For PCB, top pharmacy colleges like ICT Mumbai and Bombay College of Pharmacy require 99.3 to 99.5+ percentile in MHT CET 2026 (expected).
- There is no negative marking in MHT CET. Each correct answer earns +2 marks; unattempted questions score zero.
- The official MHT CET 2026 result with percentile scores is expected in June 2026 on cetcell.mahacet.org.
The official MHT CET 2026 scorecard will only show the percentile score, not raw marks. The State Merit Rank (SMR) is released separately during the CAP registration process.

How the MHT CET Rank and Percentile Predictor Works
Predicting your MHT CET rank starts with understanding the normalization process. Because the exam runs across many shifts, two students with the same raw marks from different shifts may receive different percentiles.
The CET Cell calculates percentile using this official formula, as published in the MHT CET information brochure:
Percentile Score = 100 x (Number of candidates whose normalised marks are less than or equal to yours) / (Total number of candidates in the exam)
Rank from Percentile = ((100 - Percentile Score) / 100) x Total Candidates + 1
A key point: The official scorecard on cetcell.mahacet.org will show your percentile score only. Your State Merit Rank (SMR) is revealed separately at the time of CAP registration. The rank predictor on this page uses this formula along with 2025 CET Cell data to give you a reliable estimate.
Also note that if you appear for both PCM and PCB groups, the Physics and Chemistry percentile scores are not interchangeable between the two groups. Each group has its own separate merit list.

MHT CET PCM Marks vs Percentile 2026 (Expected)
If you score 160 marks or above in MHT CET PCM, your expected rank is within the top 500 out of 4+ lakh PCM candidates. That puts you in the running for CSE at COEP and VJTI.
- Scoring 136 marks gives you a 99.88th percentile (based on 2025 CET Cell data). That is a rank of around 500 to 1,000. A single mark drop here shifts your rank noticeably.
- In the 120 to 130 mark range, your rank can fall anywhere between 7,000 and 12,000. That is a wide window; shift difficulty plays a big role in narrowing it.
- Dropping to 100 marks puts your percentile between 90 and 94. Your rank in that case is roughly between 20,000 and 35,000, depending on how many students appeared that year.
- The 110 to 130 mark zone is the most volatile. A single extra mark can shift your rank by more than 800 positions. Every question attempt matters in this range.

Ques. What is a safe score in MHT CET PCM 2026?
Ans. A safe score in MHT CET PCM 2026 is generally considered 130 to 140 marks. This range typically fetches a 97.5 to 99 percentile and secures admission at reputed autonomous colleges. For top government colleges like COEP and VJTI (CSE), you need 160+ marks and a 99.5+ percentile.
MHT CET PCB Marks vs Percentile 2026 (Expected)
Scoring 170+ marks in PCB is considered excellent. It is expected to fetch a 99.9+ percentile, placing you among the top rankers for ICT Mumbai and Bombay College of Pharmacy.
- At 150 marks, you can expect a percentile of 99 or above. That rank range opens doors to most top government pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra.
- In the 130 to 150 mark range, your expected percentile is 97.5 to 99.2. That is competitive enough for Poona College of Pharmacy and several government colleges (expected).
- Scoring 140 marks typically fetches around 98.5 percentile. However, you will need 150+ marks to cross the 99 percentile threshold reliably.
- Below 100 marks, your percentile drops under 90, which limits options to lower-ranked private colleges and some allied health programs.
| PCB Marks (out of 200) | Expected Percentile (2026) | Estimated Rank Range |

| Below 80 | Below 76 | 1,15,200+ |

Ques. Is percentile more important than marks in MHT CET?
Ans. Yes. The official MHT CET result is released in percentile format only. Colleges set their CAP cutoffs in percentile terms. Your rank (used in the merit list) is directly derived from your percentile. Raw marks are not used for college allotment; only the normalized percentile score matters in the Centralized Admission Process.

Ques. How accurate is the MHT CET Rank and Percentile Predictor 2026?
Ans. The predictor is based on official CET Cell data from MHT CET 2025. Year-on-year variation for the same marks is historically below 0.2 percentile points. However, these are estimates only. The actual MHT CET 2026 percentile and rank will be determined by the official normalization process and the total number of candidates appearing.
Ques. Is the percentile calculated separately for PCM and PCB in MHT CET?
Ans. Yes. The MHT CET percentile and merit list are calculated separately for PCM and PCB groups. Candidates who appear for both groups have two separate percentile scores. The Physics and Chemistry percentile scores are not shared between the two groups for the purpose of merit list preparation.
