• Right now because of the market situation it is difficult to find a job but usually 80% students will be placed in good companies before 6 months of graduation.
• There are many major companies which will hire us like amazon, infosys, adobe, google, microsoft etc and there are many start ups too and the pay will be around 80000 USD per year and we have lot of opportunities in the state offices too.

• I will prefer off campus accommodation than on campus as it is cheaper than on campus the average rent is 300 USD per person for a month there will be a bedroom,hall, kitchen, bathroom the rooms are quite spacious.
• There will be many apps to find accommodation like zillow etc: there are many whatsapp group where students can post about the vacancies in their houses so we can find one of then mostly all student housing areas are with in a range of 2 miles there will be different buses to travel to college which will take around 10 to 15 minutes

• There are quite a lot of full-time job opportunities for students after graduation with degrees in cybersecurity, software engineering, & related fields.
• 80-90% of people are able to land a good job. The average package lies between $80k to $120k which is quite competent.
• Typically, people find jobs through faculty connections, linkedin or the campus fairs.

• Facebook Marketplace is the best place to go for finding accommodation. Apps like Zillow are also really good.
• Some challenges include finding good roommates so make sure you choose wisely.
• Also finding a decent space with proximity to a bus that goes to the campus.
• These points are really important to be aware of.

• 40% will get the full-time job opportunities, while mostly around 60K is the minimum salary annually.
• References are the key to finding jobs. While for every semester there are career fairs for each department where you will have a chance to meet the HR's from the companies nearby. You can share your information and talk to them in person.

• Zillow and Trulia are the most trusted websites where you can find trusted accommodations. 
• Where there are listings and you have scheduled an appointment with the landlord for viewing the house and making a decision. I haven't faced any issues. Finding the right house according to your requirements is tough.

• As the ground reality full time opportunities are really less when compared to the years before, the main reequipment employers here is the citizenship of US.
• There are few positions which do not require the US citizenship but as a student i suggest to start applying for these positions right from your first semester.
• This increases the percentage of getting a successful position.
• SUNY Albany is a great university with good certificate value, and yes you will land up in a good role if the job market is good at the time of your graduation.
   

• Planned on finding off-campus accommodation; searched through Telegram and WhatsApp SUNY Albany student groups, then asked among seniors. This ranges from anywhere between 400 to 800 bucks a month, depending on shared utilities: water, electricity, heat were inclusive.
• My accommodation was approximately 1.5 miles off-campus, travel taking anything up to 10 to 15 minutes using a bus.
• The biggest challenge, being an international student, was understanding lease agreements, but early planning and seniors' help got me a good place. Most Indian students stay around Western Avenue or Washington Avenue; these are quite popular for affordability and convenience

• Around 70% of people get full-time job opportunities within the 6 months after graduating. given the current economic downturn and recession due to COVID, it has become pretty difficult to secure a job.
  average salary is $55,000 per year. To find jobs, students use platforms like LinkedIn and, indeed, Handshake. There are job fairs on campus as well. Major companies that hire from my universities are amazon, EY, etc.

• I was living off campus with my Indian classmates. We had met each other through a Facebook group. monthly rent was $350-$400. My place was 15 minutes away from the university.
• It was easily accessible by buses. My place had 2 bus stops near it.
• It was within 2 minutes walking distance. I would suggest students find a place with a bus stop nearby. As all apartments are almost the same with all the amenities, including washing machines, dryers, ovens, microwaves, AC, or radiators.

There were many job fairs happened at our university. I have attended all of them and I was very disappointed to say that many organizations are not preferring international students in Cyber security field as we need the clearance and only US citizens are qualified for them. Our campus helps in finding opportunities but in past 2 semesters finding job was bit hard for international students. But there are people who found good jobs in other companies. Their median salary was around $80k.

I would say that this university is good in terms of supporting students in achieving their goals and dreams. The university's campus features modern facilities, research centers, and a diverse student body. It is committed to providing students with a well-rounded education, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for successful careers and contributions to society. The University at Albany is recognized for its research initiatives and contributions to various academic fields.

I believe that currently, there is a scarcity of employers looking to sponsor international candidates. Thus, it might be hard. I'm not sure how the college can help regarding that.

Getting placements is based on how much work you are willing to put into landing a job. The college can help you via career fairs and opportunities to get the employer to the college so that you can have a chance to network, but at the end of the day, it is completely dependent on you whether you land a job or not.

The companies visited were good, superb, ok and welcoming . The number of students place was also good and ok.

My overall experience in my university is very good and lovely. My experience in the university is just so lovely and educating that I don't even want to leave university. My friends in the university have always been good and kind to me.

The reputation was good, and the cost of living was also cheap. I also opted for this college because they offered financial aid and grants. That was what swayed me to choose here the most. I'm from California so I didn't want to move all the way to New York but education was my priority.
