- More internship opportunities to work
- Flexible academic schedule for the classes to register
- More chances for on campus part time which will support us financially

- Less practical knowledge subjects
- Less coding subjects for computer students in the entire course
- Some are outdated subjects
Course Curriculum

- It was more theoretical than practical and for computer students it was very difficult but there are some changes.
- Maybe it will get easier for the up coming students and for the remaining students it was a lot easy when compared to CS Students.

University of New Heaven( got admission)
university of massachusetts Boston(Got admission )
North Eastern University ( Rejected) because it required good academic performance than me in under graduation.
University at bridgeport (got admission) applied just as a backup not interested to join - For Non CS Students to get admission in CS The minimum criteria is 8.0/10.0 GPA in the under graduation. I preferred this university because of the low cost of living in Albany and because it is state university of new york i can find more internship opportunities. I don‘t have exact idea about the minimum marks but it accepts GRE, TOEFL, IELTS. There is free transportation in the range of 20 miles to albany
- I applied for Fall 2023 intake. There are many factors which influenced me to join this college cheaper college fee, less cost of living, albany is just a small town with very low crime rate. Its the capital of New York state so all the state offices are here. So we can get internships or jobs easier. Obviously its a STEM college so i can have extra 2 years visa to work
Class Schedule

- Usually we have 2 to 4 days of classes scheduled in a week depend up on the subjects we enrolled its up to our choice the subjects we enrolled and we can select the professor we need.
Faculty

- The faculty to student ratio is 1 professor for around 50 students. All the professors are very highly rated.
- My AI Professor is one of the top 3 scientists in the world. They are very kind they will give the opportunity to work under them as a grader or as a teaching assistant if we have good score in their subject with good knowledge they will conduct interviews for that

these are the campuses i know - There will be many fests throughout the semester in the start of the semester there will be an orientation semester they will offer free food there will be many games going on like basketball, football and there will be running tracks too
Part Time Jobs
- The students who can secure TA, RA are very less may be just 20 per semester but there are other opportunities for oncampus parttime i. The college where students can apply through sodexo can work for 20 hours in a week with a basic pay starting from 15.5 USD Per hour here the pay will be dependent upon the number of hours we worked. Its not that difficult to get a job in the college 60 percent of students can find the jobs in the on campus part times as an international students we are not allowed to work on off campus
- Its neither easy nor difficult to get a job in the on campus the pay range is 15.5 per hour usually students will apply for on campus through sodexo kr hand shake portals the application process is like we need to fill the 9 pages form including all our details and resume after that they will take a simple interview to know our schedule and our communication skills depend on that they will select the students
Placement

- Right now because of the market situation it is difficult to find a job but usually 80% students will be placed in good companies before 6 months of graduation.
- There are many major companies which will hire us like amazon, infosys, adobe, google, microsoft etc and there are many start ups too and the pay will be around 80000 USD per year and we have lot of opportunities in the state offices too.
Accommodation
Off Campus

- I will prefer off campus accommodation than on campus as it is cheaper than on campus the average rent is 300 USD per person for a month there will be a bedroom,hall, kitchen, bathroom the rooms are quite spacious.
- There will be many apps to find accommodation like zillow etc: there are many whatsapp group where students can post about the vacancies in their houses so we can find one of then mostly all student housing areas are with in a range of 2 miles there will be different buses to travel to college which will take around 10 to 15 minutes
Exams
- It will accept all the exams like GRE, TOEFL, IELTS But gre is not mandatory anything between toefl and ielts will be good i don't have idea about the minimum scores.
- The required documents are good Statement of purpose, 3 letter of recommendations. Resume of ours and bank statement with minimum balance of 30Lakhs. There is no interview in the application process
Fees
- Its an semester based fee structure and 1000USD for each credit we need to complete 31 credits for the entire course.
- There are lot of houses for off campus housing and there is an option for on campus housing but it is expensive. In off campus the rent will be depend up on you like what kind of room you need around it will be like 300 per month on average. And for maintenance it will be around 100 like for mobile, wifi and gym e.t.c:
Scholarship
- We have a scholarship named the Dean's Merit Scholarship and we will get 2500 USD Per semester under this scholarship.
- The eligibility criteria is for the first semester u will get automatically after that we need to maintain 3.0 Cumulative GPA Out of 4.0 GPA. If we meet this criteria then everyone will receive this scholarship. Other than this we don‘t have any other scholarships
