Likes
- Diversity, class strength was really small making it a very 1 on 1 experience
- Practical learning
- Help from professors (highly informative/professional)
Dislikes
- Time schedule. evening classes that went on till 9pm
- Could not get all the classes I wanted to enroll in (AI / Crypto) because it was not related to my course
- Classmates were not very outgoing and were shy
Campus Life
- I tried to do more outside the university than what was offered there (which was not a lot)
- Most of the co-curriculars were for undergrads.
- I used their sports complex a lot but also did go for social get togethers offered every semester—bowling, canoeing, arcade visits, etc.
- The most famous fest we had was spree day which was enjoyed by all. A full day of food, music and after-parties. Mainly to celebrate spring and the end of the semester. happens in April of every year.
Fees
- I had a 25% scholarship and the fee for each course was 5k usd (without the scholarship) and in total had to take 10 courses minimum
- My rent and utilities would come around 800 usd each month
- Groceries around 300 USD/month and insurance around 2800 usd each year
- Miscellaneous – 300-400 usd each month
- The fee is charged per semester (having 3-4 courses each semester), which also has insurance added to it.
Likes
- There is lot of diversity. If you are straight or gay or whatever, you are not treated differently. You are given equal respect.
- This will sound funny but the college is in Worcester and it has all 4 seasons. Beautiful summers, snowy winters, The soothing springs and the fall season - should love it
- The college is located in close proximities to downtown and almost at the heart of Worcester. So everything is easily accessible
Dislikes
- They stopped the bypassing of courses for experienced people. Earlier they had this provision, in case there is a subject for example Agile or Project Management and if you have had experience in the past dealing with these topics in real time work then you get waiver on these subjects but they stopped this.
- The crime index around the college area is not the best. Even though security is tight but we were warned not to venture out after 10pm alone or even on foot.
- Master's students mostly are Indians. So if you try on your own then you get a cultural exchange with other ethnicities else you remain within Indians only.
Campus Life
- Ok, so here is how it goes. Once you walk towards the college in Main Street, on the left-hand side you will see a Clark College property, which was kind of a fancy guest house. We never went in there. Probably it was for some VIP. Next there was a parking lot that also belonged to Clark. On the right side there were a lot of small shops, which were Clark property as well and some shops were used for robotics and woodwork designing. Then move a little bit ahead to the left and you will see a big admin office that handles most of the payment and other work. To the right is the main college campus. If you go further right, there are a lot of houses that Clark owns that act as different offices for Clark. Honestly, I do not even know. And when I left Clark, a lot of construction work was going on. God knows how much more they have expanded.
- A huge library. A 5-story damn good one with lots of books, private places to study, and open till 10 pm in the night. Basketball, American football—there is volleyball and softball. Medical services: I was forced to take the COVID booster shot. That was not a nice experience. But medical facilities are good. You can get free condoms and free bandages. Use as much as you want.
- I was not a festive guy. I did not like loud music or anything but there were a lot of fests. I did go to one annual Clarkfest. So much noise but food was good and Indian performances were there. Clark gives a lot of opportunities to do social welfare and also fun activities. I never took part in any. But they have quite a lot. Also take you out for picnics and ice fishing and ice skating. Choose your pick.
Fees
- I will keep it simple. When I joined the MSIT course in 2022, January. I got a 25% scholarship. Total 10 subjects for the course and each subject was 2500$ approx. Minimum subjects to take in a semester are 3. There are additional charges, such as a technology fee, library fee, printer fee and all those basic amenities as a student that were included. I stayed on my own with some students in a rented apartment. As hostel fees were too expensive. That time it was like $1200 per month per room. So I stayed outside on my own.
- Fees are charged per semester.
- Then in 2022, I paid 525$ as rent, 30$ as utilities, and food was on my own.
- Travel in Worcester: bus service is free; if you take Uber or Lyft, then it is from your pocket.
- So in 2022, for a normal life of a student, 750$ was enough per month, including rent, food, travel and some fun.

- Campus: I really love the campus and location of the University.
- Resources: There are a lot of helpful resources available that would help you get a job or internships.
- Diverse Faculty: Faculty is very approachable and friendly and you can easily reach out to them for any doubts.
Dislikes
- Location: The university is in another city near to Boston, that makes it difficult to attend Networking events
- Less Job Career Fairs at the university
- Limited on-campus jobs so you have to make strong connections as early as possible
Campus Life
- There is only one campus of Clark University, which is in Worcester, Massachusetts.
- Facilities available are the library, sports building, which includes almost every court, medical services, on-campus police, campus shuttle for students that do pick/drop in 5-mile radius, gaming floor, and halls for events.
- The major campus festival is Spree Day, which happens in April. All the classes get cancelled that day and we get notified in the morning. The major club is the American Marketing Association chapter, which does major events in the university.
- There are many sports tournaments that happen throughout the year, like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, softball, etc
Fees
- Tuition fee for MBA: $59,700 but Clark gives minimum 15% scholarship to everyone.
- I received 30% scholarship, after that my fees is: $41,790
- Hostel for graduate students is optional, you can pay upto 1 year lease that roughly around: $25,000 (You can lease minimum of 6 months)
- Monthly expenses of off-campus housing is: Rent: $600(average)
- Utilities & bills: $50-60
- Groceries: $50

Likes
- It offers free transport shuttle for students, although the transport shuttle takes time to get to our pick up location whenever we used, but from the Universities I have applied to, this was the only one that offered this particular service.
- There are a lot of clubs for international students to join, and make this university a home, celebrating all cultures and traditions. I have very few moments where I felt I was far from home.
- My university also offers student counseling for career after masters, like resume and cover letter preparation, interview street handling - tips and tricks, it is the SPS Career Connections Center, I have attended some three workshops, which helped me gain a lot of insights of preparation to make before applying for jobs and internships.
Dislikes
- Cold Winters: The winters here are really harsh, especially if you’re not used to the cold. It can be a challenge to get through, especially during the first year.
- Slow Transport Service: The university transport service can be frustrating because it takes forever to book a ride when you need one. It’s not very reliable if you’re in a hurry.
- Limited On-Campus Jobs: There aren’t enough on-campus part-time job opportunities for grad students, which is disappointing, especially for those who want to work while studying.
Campus Life
- There is only one huge campus located at 900 main street Worcester
- There are some different buildings nearby like Corner House, Graduate Student Office, Accounts Department etc, Health Services, Dolan Athletic Field for sports, Kneller Athletic center which has a Gym and indoor Basketball, Squash courts.
- There are different clubs for different cultural events and activities, one of these clubs which I joined was the South Asian Student Association, which conducts all of our Indian cultural fests and activities.
Fees
- So, the fee structure depends on the program that you’re going into, As I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science, we’ve have to complete 10 courses in the span of 4 semester i.e., 2 years, so the tuition fees per course is 4000$ USD, there will be varying charges per semester like Graduate Fees, Technology Fees., etc but all of these might be negligible based on the percentage of scholarships you receive at the time of Admission, the fees is charged semester wise.
- Monthly estimate depends on the lifestyle you maintain, basic rent might vary from 300$ in a sharing to 1000$ in a private room, and so goes on the groceries and utility bill, the less sharing the more expensive, my monthly estimate goes upto 550$ including Rent, Mobile, Wifi, Electricity and around 300$ for groceries and traveling My commute is free as the public bus transport is free in Worcester, MA, so I need pay for traveling only if I go out of Worcester City.

- One of the amazing events is our annual event which shows all the amazing cultural feasts, and traditional dances.
- Another one is called "Sprenaissance Faire" where all the classes get cancelled out and you will see a DJ booth in the middle of the campus and you can booze around and enjoy the day (the best part is they never disclose the date, so it is very random)
