I applied to 3 colleges— Clark university NYU Northeastern I got into all of them but chose Clark because the course aligned with my goals and I considered the cost of living in that college town. I did not get rejected from any. My only advice would be to make your SOP as strong and personal as possible. less AI and high language. Keep it simple and break it down into your past, what you want your future to be like, a little about the university you are applying to and how that university aligns with your future goals. Mostly it was the course and how it being a small college would be beneficial for me. Along with the city and cost of living. When moving to a new country, you have to consider the cost of living because by then you start paying your own bills—rent and everything. Small colleges, getting a job on campus is less competitive and easier. Any student wanting to apply to universities in the USA especially should definitely consider that because, in the end, all are the same. It took around 2 months and again the city being small and closer to one of my relatives was the major factor for me choosing Clark University I wrote my IELTS in april. Started my SOP preparation in May and got all my documents ready. Applied by that month's end and got my result by july end, where i started my visa process. Good course curriculum and easy payable fee structure tended me towards joining the university. Also the location of the university is quite useful in finding jobs as it's in Greater Boston so a lot of opportunities are pen for one candidate to find suitable job profile....Read More

Clark University has given me the exposer which I need to know my self value as well as where I stand in technical ways. Also participating in different culture events in university has made me realize how beautiful humans and their culture are. The United States of America was always a top choice for a master's preference. About the university; later on, after having a lot of discussion, research and personal advice, I chose Clark University because of the personalised program that I was looking for, apart from this I got myself a great scholarship and the tuition fees was under my budget. The instructors assigned for this set of courses were renowned professors who worked in the big giants in the tech sector and also took some time to teach us, which gave me real-time knowledge that made my master's and my skills more agile. Location was a bummer as it was not a developed city, to be honest, but the geographical allocation made it even as it was close to Boston, New York, and New Hampshire, as these cities were the spots of bit-tech companies. Career opportunities are something that we as individuals need to find, which I learned quite a hard way as my university is big on networking, and the alumni network was promising. Overall, the experience was a rollercoaster ride as I was doing a lot of things within this duration (TRUST ME, Time flies in America too fast ), and extracurricular activities were blended with clubs, which were diverse from pottery to playing soccer, they had everything. The campus was small, and that was a big pain, but eventually, it does not matter once you understand your work and goals. Overall, it was a big decision which was worth it!! I have applied to 5 universities in total,I received confirmed admissions from 4 of these universities  One being Clark University The others are Eastern Illinois University-IL, Stevens Institute of Technology-NJ, Missouri Institute of Science and Technology- MI and University of North Texas- TX. got admitted in all 4 of them.. There was one university which I got rejected from i.e.  University of North Texas. In my opinion I got rejected from UNT because my background in btech was from Electrical and not Computer Science, that was the reason mentioned for my rejection in UNT. I selected Clark University because the tuition fees and living expenses fits well with my budget, which was a critical factor for me. Also, Massachusetts, especially the Boston area is known for its youthful energy and vibrant community due to the many internationally recognized universities in this region. I felt this environment would give me great exposure, both academically and culturally, and provide opportunities to connect with a different cultural group of people. I applied for Fall-2023 intake based on the job market situation at that time, I suggest anyone to apply according to their convenience, I chose for Fall intake as I can graduate in summer where general hiring still goes on, unlike December where there will be a hiring freeze on most companies due to budget constraints. Applied to below four universities, got accepted into two university, and one with the scholarship. Got rejected from one university due to average GMAT score and gave interview of 2 rounds in Vanderbilt and did not make it to the final list due to average GMAT score. Interview went really good but overall application could not match the expectations. 1. Umass Dartmouth: Accepted 2. Clark University: Accepted with scholarship 3. Vanderbilt University: Rejected after final interview 4. University of Minnesota: Rejected I chose Clark University because the program I was aiming for matched with my previous experience. Admission process was to give GMAT score, write an essay about you and your work experience along with a Statement of Purpose on why you want to do MBA. Eligibility criteria is GMAT(if your experience is less than 3 years) along with IELTS/TOFEL or DuoLingo exam with a minimum band of 6. Overall admission process was smooth and very transparent. There were no challenges. I came in Fall, 2024 intake because I'm planning to complete my MBA in May 2026 which is in 2 years and the job market is really good during summers. It would be easy to get more job calls during that time compared to Winter graduation, that's why I chose Fall intake rather than Spring intake. Admission process took around 3 months for the final decision. I applied for the following universities: Oakland University, Rochester, New York and Clark University. I got accepted in both. Received confirmation from both. I did not apply more than these 2. So no rejections for me. The initial process was a bit hectic but turned out to be the same for all the colleges. So, it is ok. I wanted to be close to Boston; fees were important as I got a specific amount of education loan and whatever was sanctioned, I could not go and study at Stanford or MIT. We need to factor finances too. I am honestly telling this.  I applied for this college online after my friend suggested it. I booked a video conversation with a college representative to help me with my questions. I paid the said admission fee for the respective course and I received the I-20 form after showcasing all proof of finances, experiences and past education. I applied during COVID . So I did not have to give IELTS. Rather, the Duolingo score was accepted. I got 145 out of 160, so I was pretty good in it. And the bare minimum 60% in 10th and 12th and engineering. There were always challenges. There are always questions. There is always a fear that if it does not work out, the money is non-refundable. But the biggest challenge is overcoming these fears and going for it. If you take the leap of faith and trust the system and your credentials, then things are generally fine. It worked out well for me. I applied for MSIT. I gave the Duolingo exam in November 2021. I did not want to pay more. I wanted to go for computer science, but each subject was $1,000 more expensive in CS compared to IT. Saving money was the biggest factor influencing my decision. I am a programmer already so I can learn or thrive in programming by myself. The admissions process did not take much time. It was all the financial proofs you have and how you are able to negotiate with the admin department. I started somewhere at the end of October 2021, enquiring about the same. Getting video conferences, checking out the college, reading about it online and on their website and seeking experience from other people. There is a Facebook page also for this. Then I applied for admission and got the admission letter. I took the letter and went to HDFC Credila and they sanctioned the loan. Once I got the visa, the loan got disbursed.
