The application process for PG courses and Ph.D. is online, while the process for UG courses is offline.
For the online process, candidates must apply for admission through the official MCAER website. The subsequent steps should be followed by students:
- Visit the official website of MCAER
- In the “Admissions” section, click on “Online Application” tab.
- Click on “Apply Now” button and fill in the application form with all the relevant details.
- Click on “Save” button if you need to make any changes to the application form or click on “Submit” button if all the particulars are correct
In order to complete the application process, candidates must submit the registration fee of INR 600 (INR 300 for reserved category candidates) through Challan in State Bank of India branches or through Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking. Candidates can also submit the fee through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘Financial Advisor, MCAER, Pune’
Candidates should take a printout of duly filled-in application form and send it along with all the self-attested copies of their relevant documents and a recent passport size photograph by Post or by Courier Service to the following address:

For the offline process, candidates can download the prospectus and concerned application form available at the official MCAER website.
Along with duly filled-in applications, candidates have to submit an application fee of INR 600 (INR 300 in the case of SC/ST/OBC) through Net Banking or DD or by Challan in state bank of India branch. DD should be drawn in favor of “Financial Advisor, MCAER, Pune” and payable at Pune
Printout of the duly filled-in application along with recent passport size photograph and relevant documents must be sent to any of the Application Receipt Centres of the institution. Candidates have to submit an application form along with the following self-attested documents:
- Mark sheet /Grade card of qualifying examination
- School / College (Last attended) Leaving Certificate
- Bonafide Certificate in case of candidate admitted by ICAR quota
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile Certificate / Residential Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- 'Non-Creamy Layer Certificate' issued on or after April 01, 2015 or valid up to the date of submission of application form
- Certificate of ‘Project Affected Person’ issued by the District Resettlement Officer of Government of Maharashtra
- N.C.C. ‘B’ or ‘C’ / Air / Naval /Army wing Certificate
- Certificate of Games/Sports/Debate/Essay/Elocution issued by the District Sports Officer
- A Certificate of the Freedom Fighter of the applicant’s parents issued under the signature of the Honourable Prime Minister / Chief Minister of Maharashtra State
- N.S.S. Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
- Defense Personnel Certificate from Zilla Sainik Board
- ‘No-Objection Certificate’ from the Employer in case of Inservice Candidate
- Migrant/Displaced students from Jammu and Kashmir State should submit Certificate from the Competent Authority
- Certificate of Handicapped issued by the Competent Authority (if applicable)
- Economically Backward Class (EBC) Certificate issued on or after January 1, 2015
Note: Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Agriculture Polytechnic must submit 2 forms. The marks of Agriculture Polytechnic should be attached to one copy and marks obtained in the 12th standard should be enclosed with the second form.

Students seeking admission in the B.Tech Food Technology program must have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board with English and PCM or PCB subjects. With 87 percentile score in MHT CET you have good chances of meeting the cut-off.
