PDKV Akola Admissions

Admissions to the UG courses are on the basis of merit in the previous examination. However, admission to the PG courses and the Ph.D. course is on the basis of the Common Entrance Test conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune. Some of the seats of each course are filled through the Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi.

How to Apply?

Register yourself before filling the form.
Fill in the form. Also, print a copy and send it to ANYONE of the seven Applications Receipt Center (ARC) locations.
Fees for submission of application form :
- For Open category INR 1000
- For Reserved category INR 500
Pay the fees through Demand Draft or by Challan to State Bank of India, payable to the Financial Advisor, MCAER, Pune at Pune.

PDKV Akola Facilities

Some of the facilities provided by the college include:

Hostel: The college has separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls, each with 41 rooms, accommodating 82 students. Additional facilities include TV, recreation hall, separate mess building, volleyball ground, etc.
Library: The library houses more than 1.57 lakh books and other reading materials, in addition to 255 journals of agricultural, technical, and allied science interest. It also houses special interest collections and rare books.
Co-Curricular Activities: The College has many sports and physical education facilities. These include a gymnasium, a table tennis board, and a volleyball ground.
Educational Tours: Educational tours for B.Sc. (Agri.) students are arranged every year. The educational tours aim to provide a platform for the students to get acquainted with the practical knowledge and aspects of agriculture and allied sectors in other parts of the country.

Ans. 15% of the undergraduate seats are filled through this examination, while 25% of the postgraduate and doctoral courses are reserved for ICAR CEE.

Ans. Admission to all Ph.D. courses shall be on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70 percent of the CET score and 30 percent of the CGPA of the student.

Likes

Infrastructure of clg is very attractive and campus are very beautiful
Teaching staff as well as non teaching staff is supportive
Best thing is that safety for girls hostel as well as boys hotel

Dislikes

Heavy work load and deadly timelines for practicals and college work
Not enough free time or personal space during college time
Not enough support for mental health or wellness

Evaluation criteria followed in the campus

Critical examination, seminar pattern for four years means eight semister. Final year, sevanth semister was industrial tour and seminar and eighth semister was handsome on training in various organisations of central government and state government

Companies recruiting from the campus, highest and average package being offered

Form sixth semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are various companies like BASF, Ankur seeds, Ajit seeds, Mahico,other biotechnology industry was visited to college for placement, highest package is seven to eight lakhs per annum, average package is four to five lakhs per annum and lowest is two to three lakhs per annum. Seventy to eighty percent student get placed by collge

Fees of the course per year and scholarship available in the college

Year wise few pay For Sc category fee is 2000 per year that all included Tution fee, caution fee, registeration few, admission fee, lab fee and 4000 per year hostel fees And around 1500 ra mess per month . For sc category 10000 per year scholarship are given by Maharashtra government

In this college social annual programms like Mrudung, youth festival and technical festival like Avishkar, maha-agrivision held in a year. Lots of books available in library for agriculture, Biotechnology and Competative exams , Digital classrooms, Computer labs, plant biotechnology lab, animal biotechnology lab, food biotechnology lab also available for practicals. Extra curricular activities like NSS camps are provided

Hostel facility is available for girls and boys separately, in Hostel there was three sharing rooms are available, mess, Tv room, indoor game room, study hall, library, are available for daily purpose as well as in summer coolers are provided for students

Enough faculty for intake of students in college....there is teaching and non teaching staff are present for student 24*7. Classes with the teacher is worthwhile they have amazing way to teach and perform practicals

No I didn't get any rejection from my college where I applied .. admission process is simple according to merit list in Mhtcet ug exam conducted by maharastra state government no negative marking is there computer based test according to percentile obtained + saatbara + addition subject in 12 th of agriculture increase 20 percentile for both & if 1 is there then ,12 percentile increase cap round is there in that the college university list is provided

In order to get admission at PDKV Akola you need to have passed 10+2 from Maharashtra board or any other recognized board and the selection will be based on last qualifying exam marks.
