Course curriculum in this college is really good. All the subjects of MBBS (Physiology , biochemistry and anatomy ) for 1st year and other years alsoare being tought here successfully. The facilities are really very excellent and amiable.

Life at AIIMS

Likes

Faculties are really good. And nothing to complain about the infrastructure which is like a dream
Academic section here is most active . Its like u get ur exam schedule one year ahead
Encourages participation in co curricular activities which is a huge point

Dislikes

In my opinion, syllabus completion is a bit fast, which is normal

Obviously as we all know, MBBS is a hardcore and a long time course. After attending first few classes it feels like we have jumped into a ocean of unknown facts and theories. Its so vast that it becomes overwhelming. But its natural, every student feels that way. As always with time students get havituated with the pattern of the course. Off course exams. Stressful days, there is no way to escape that but also it prepares u for the upcoming days

Faculties are all from renowned colleges. Frequents tests are taken. Immense academic pressure. Labs are all equipped with instruments and practical classes are nice. OPD visits are given in first year itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1)The curriculum is flexible with the perfect balance of academic and co curricular aspect which is necessary for the balance. 2)The cousrse is of 5.5 years with 1 year of compulsory internship. 3)There are 19 subjects in total. 4)We people have clinical postings, practical classes along with academics which prepares us to combat with real life problems. 5)There are 2-3 semester per year with a final professional exam.

AIIMS tag is sufficient for any student to choose it
Sports facilities are also best and room is best
Being a central university and One of the INIs Facilities given here are best

Dislikes

Campus is new so is lagging in sports areas
Mess food quality is not upto the mark ..
Academic pressure is very much in the college

Serve to mankind is Serve to the God. And All people want to be Doctor nowadays and being in that 1% population feels like .....Teaching methods and course curriculum are up to the mark. In my college it is like in every month there is a monthly test and there are total of 9 semesters in 4.5 yrs

The study environment here is very suitable for promoting learning
The infrastructure is very well constructed
The faculties are experienced and teach well

The hospital infrastructure is not complete
Communication and travel is a bit problematic
Reasearch opportunities are somewhat limited

Best degree gives us a scope to do well and get new ideas
Liked the campus it's decorum and the best part is the hostels
Liked about the academics and all the faculties

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food it could have been better

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually becoming a great doctor and helping people really influenced me. The curriculum prepares me for this by giving interactions with patients and with needy people. Actually I don't think any area of improvement here. MBBS is a great degree. Internal exam are conducted very frequently with semester every 6 month and a professional exam at the end of the year

The infrastructure it is one of the best in india .
The library with so many books and online resources like journals etc
The hostel facility which is even better than my home

Dislikes

this course is very lengthy and humongous
Too much importance about attendance and marks
Gym which is not upto the mark to an INI gym

The couse is vast and also the institute is autonomous so the difficulty is very high compared to other govt colleges.It is a highly practical course with direct communication with the patients which starts even during the tenure of the course

Likes

Faculty are very godd and well experienced.
There is good quality education and very good hospital facility in this college.
Best thing that you have oppurtinities for making good friends with good study.

Dislikes

The course is very vast and hectic but its ok.
College is located very far from kolkata biut essential things is availbale nearby.
Mess facility is not that much good.ground for sports is not well developed

Mbbs is very professional course.you have so many opportunities after the completion of course.the respect for the course is very much and you feel very proud. You have to study in this course lifetime but after study you have opportunity to work for nation. Course Curriculum is up to date and faculty are very good and they support us in studies. We have regular labs practicals and training which is good in MBBS course.

So it was a very excellent curriculum. I actually wanted to learn MBBS since my class 10th so I wanted to come into an aim so I did come into an aims and I thought I would learn very nicely here and I also into some sports activities So I wanted to play badminton and go to the gym and swim also so I got everything here so here I am and happy.
