Why to choose AIIMS Kalyani over other Medical colleges

Likes

The infrastructure and the the quality of life in AIIMS is great and you would love to live there
The place has hoghest and most qualified clinicians which motivate you to become one of them
The academics and the faculties are superb

Dislikes

The campus has yet to develop cocurricular infrastructure fully
There is a bit of understaffness in the college
The campus is away from city and needs a bit of development outside the campus

Internships Opportunities:

The internship included in the MBBS is done in the AIIMS Hospital and our college also provides courses for INICET students. The internship duration is 1 year and the monthly pay right now is around Rs 30000.

Why shouldn't you opt for AIIMS kalyani

Likes

The campus beauty and state of art architecture
The professors are very good and friendly {except during exams😂}
There is great senior junior relationship and no senior ever scolds a junior with cuss words

Dislikes

No washing machine facility for students
The location of college is not good and you cannot enjoy a city life
The academics could be improved and number of exams reduced

Internships Opportunities:

Every MBBS student has to mandatorily participate in internship after the completion of their course. This gives great exposure to the students and readies them for the real world of medicine. The stipend against the internship work is also great

College campus and hostel fascility and the warden behaviour
Freedom I get to explore myself in different way
Late night fun with friends and enjoying life

Dislikes

The pressure the course put up on us is so heavy
The food provided by mess is not upto the mark
The weather is very very harsh to cope with

• We are first year mbbs students so we didn't get to enroll in internship employment so we didn't get stipend • In Short term studentship we get to choose particular tropic of research and get approved by MCI

College life at AIIMS KALYANI

Likes

College campus is beautiful and adorable.
Students here good and competitive and the environment is also good.
Hostel life adds another perk to the college

Dislikes

Mess food and the mess cost too high 4300/ month
No students union and college head is decided by academics
Academic section is very strict and interferes everywhere.

Internships Opportunities:

You'll be an Mbbs intern at AIIMS for one year at the end of the course and you'll get a stipend for the internship which is maximum in AIIMS and all INIs. STS is also an option if you want to have some experience in the research field.

Life in MBBS

Likes

Faculties are excellent with everyone having an excellent teaching experience
Labs are well equipped with microscopes and groups of 2 students are made for practicals.
Best thing is the number of cadavers present. 5 groups of 25 students are made with each group having 2 cadavers ( a male and a female )

Dislikes

I don't like the attendance pressure. Attendance is too strict in our college. Every students must maintain 75 % attendance.
Numberof holidays are very less compared to other medical colleges
Quality of food in mess is not up to the mark.The money charged is more than the food they provide

Internships Opportunities:

After completing the final proff, 1 year of the internship has to be done by every student and after that, they are provided an MBBS degree. A stipend of more than 20000 is provided to every student during the time of internship.

Our College - AIIMS Kalyani

Likes

The total fee of the whole MBBS course which is 5856.
The classrooms and laboratory equipped with all essentials.
Various clubs:- Music Club, Art Club, Literary Club, Drama Club, Sports Club

Dislikes

Non availability of cricket playground, we face difficulty.
Mess fee:- which is comparatively more than other AIIMS college.
Locality:- our college is not in proximity of main city.

Internships Opportunities:

There is a compulsory internship for all MBBS students for one year after 4.5 years of course. Here students are exposed to real-life medical cases, and they learn how to diagnose, do various tests, and treat the patients.

Likes

I liked the college life, beautiful campus, and infrastructure.
The seniors are also helpful and guide us whenever we need their guidance or help.
The faculties are really good at taching as well as they are approachable.

Dislikes

The academics hours feel a little bit longer.
The 75% compulsory attendance system seems a little bit unfair though it is for our wellness only.
We get a average mess and my taste do not match with the food of the state of west bengal (where my college is located).

Internships Opportunities:

We get internship program for 1 year in which the interns are paid monthly around 30-32k. I have little knowledge about it as I am in 1st year. In our college the internship program is newly introduced. Saying anything about which I don't have proper knowledge will not be fair.

The rapid developing medical College=AIIMS kalyani

Likes

Academics is so brilliant. The faculty here is so well trained.
The campus buliding is so nice looking and the cleanliness is awesome.
The othere activities and aouditoriun and the clubs also interesting.

Dislikes

There is less holidays and one 2 big holiday you will achieve at the end of semister.
There is only one mess . For the huge student need we need another big mess.
There is same hostel for 1 st year and 2 nd year .it's should be different.

Internships Opportunities:

There is self intership provided by college at the end of 4.5 years . Also after completing course you can work as junior resident at minimum salary 1 lakh per month. There is sufficient time and gap given for preparing neet pg. And there teaching also little bit oriented to pg prepration.

Likes

Best infrastructure, huge campus , greenery all around.
Faculties are very dedicated and are from reputed institutes of india.
Laboratories are well equipped with modern appliances.

Dislikes

No such place otside the campus for hangout.
College is almost 6- 7 km from main city .
One have to travel a lot for chilling & hangout.
