There is really good bonding with students we can ask any doubts with faculty at anytime especially deepa mam she is class mentor when i joined as a fresher and she really helps me to get out of fears and she is very kind and there are nearly two internals exam, if you get good marks in internals then you can achieve more than 9cgpa in semester and you can easily clear all exams without arrear

So basically I don't like two of the facilities they are new to here i guess better if I won't say their name and about the exam it might find a little hard but trust me it is easy peasy for everyone if anyone failed then they don't have to be worried they will pass for sure when they try for the next time

SRM UNLEASHED :

On duty permissiin for reasearch papers etc..,

Faculty members are still now doing nptel courses and they insist us to do the same , there are some golden staffs in college who teaches the subjects too a deeper thinking and ensures our learning lath is not distracted , here we have elab facilities that consist of 300 coding problems for each semester . Everything has a positive and a negative , yes there are some faculties who target ur internals ,attendance (seem to be act as nice but plays in internal marks ). after crossing everything including 3 internal tests , class test ,lab test, practicals.... etc.., there is no time left for sem preparation . Teachers suppots us by sending notes ,pdf,ppts . Overall in sight of faculty ill rate 3.5 out of 5

The faculty while some are good some are not as much

The faculties can be both good and badin terms of teaching, the faculty to student ratio is good. The faculty student relationships depend on the faculty and almost all of them are easily approachble, there are not any particular faculties i like and dislike. There are 2 internal exams which will be converted to 15 each and be added to the total internal of 60 for a subject. And then there is a semster exam out 75 which will be converted to 40 and will be finally be totaled to a 100 marks

Good and helpful faculty who actually care about youu and will take out their time to properly help you understand the topic if you didn't understand the first time

The faculty-to-student ratio is reasonable, allowing for some individual attention. Most faculty members are approachable and willing to assist students. However, a few professors could improve their teaching methods to make the subjects more engaging. The course structure is fine, but the curriculum has alot of unnecessary subjects. The exam pattern is fair, but the difficulty level can vary. While the pass rate is satisfactory, some students might find the exams challenging due to the rigorous nature of the course. Overall, the academic experience is positive, with opportunities for both learning and personal growth.

Here a faculty is assigned with minimum of two classes, having a max of 60 students. Therefore, on an average ratio of 1:120 (teacher:students) is followed. Faculty is responsive to the students when available. SRMIST Trichy holds three exams in total within a semester, CLA-1, CLA-2 and end sems. (Continuous Learning Assessment). Course curriculum is pretty much relevant to what comes in the exam. Majority of the students surpasses the exam and the difficulty of the exams ranges between Easy-Moderate( personal opinion). Difficulty of the exams is different for every student having their own level of understanding.

The faculties in my college are good though but not everyone. I have got experienced staffs for philosophy of engineering, chemistry and Programming for problem solving. They help me a lot in studying or clearing any of my doubts.
