CAMPUS LIFE AT SRM TRICHY

Admission:

First i have checked the placements of the others colleges which located in trichy and i have sort list 2 colleges,SRM and DSU but comparatively SRM has vibe and chaos's and i have went to college and asked for admission they told me that if you come under the criteria of getting 190 cutoff means you can book a seat with the amount of 10000 which not be refunded and i get above 200 so i have joined easily!

SRM UNLEASHED :

Here admission takes place in two methods, by srmjeee and by score in 12th . I am looking forward for colleges in tn councelling and i wrote various entrances like viteee,aeee,jeephase 1 and 2 . As seeing a biger name SRM i convinced myself as i'll surely get a job and dreamt of mnc's . But when i came to college i came to know about the things running here . I scored 10k rank in srmjeee i got seat in srm trichy for cse , by seeing the name i blindly paid fees and done everything .as total fees is 2.25 i got scholarship based on my rank of 25k .

Srm Tiruchirappali good or bad

I chose this college as it has a good ranking and because of the affordability of the course this college was my first option and i had applied to other colleges incase i didnt get admission. The admission process consists of taking the extrance exam srmjeee and clearing the cutoff. After which u can give ur course of choice amd check if you are eligible or not

Detailed honest review of SRM

I had applied to a number of colleges including VIT, SRM, Amity, LPU, Chandigarh University and DU. I got confirmed admission from every university except DU as I didn't meet the score required to qualify for the college. I gave exams for the other college like VITEE, SRMJEEE, and a scholarship examination for Chandigarh University. I got accepted in each but I didn't go to VIT as the fees was coming too high for us to afford, as I got Category 5. I didn't choose Amity and LPU as they are known for not having a good study environment. I rejected Chandigarh University as I heard from my brother studying there that there are way too many students there and most of them aren't getting placements. So I chose SRM as it has a good study environment , isn't known for anything bad and wasnt saturated with students. I wrote the SRMJEEE exam and got qualified for 40% scholarship in SRMIST tiruchirappalli after getting a rank of 1901. Cutoff for getting CSE in SRMIST tiruchirappalli is about 12000 in SRMJEEE.

I applied for JIIT-Noida, SNU Noida but due to non preferrable branches i was getting i opted out and thought of giving SRMJEEE. No i didn't got rejected from the above mentioned colleges, just because i was not getting the desired branch , i left. Admission procedure of my college includes, applying either directly with management quota and reserve a seat or take part in SRMJEEE ,secure a rank, get a scholarship and reserve your seat. You'll be asked to choose the college and branch, then the internal procedure of submitting the documents and paying fees will continue.

The other college I applied for is VIT VELLORE I couldn't make there because I did not get enough marks in the entrance exam conducted by VIT called VITEEE. And in my college the admission process is very easy.
