Life in the campus of gurugram University

Likes

All the seniors are very friendly and also you get a better environment like alot of greenery

Dislikes

Behaviour of some teachers is not so good but many of the teachers are godd

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I'm getting cs branch only in this college . The level of exams ( semester exams ) is intermediate. But majority of the students got failed every year in the exams (I don't know how they got failed even by doing well in the exams????)

(1)only i like this college because of the location which is situated in gurgaon
(1)teacher are well qualified ,teacher are doing phd on its relevent subject
(1)students are good in their friendship

Dislikes

No placement cell and not provide placement to the student
Labs are not function properly and lab teacher are not provided
Infrastructure are not good in college and not provided sport ground not much focus on sport and cultural fest

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose artificial intelligence due to the current generation scenerio.In today Ai takes the market in it sector also so in this time this provided good job in upcoming years.In this in college rather than focus on theory we should be focus on pratical knowledge.

As the student in Gurugram University i will do my best

Likes

Some teachers do well because they want their student to do well and get better future
Infrastructure is normal and normal fees
This campus is under the government and it is good for the student to get study .

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not good they need to do work on this shortage
Social behaviour of student surrounding is bad
Teachers not good they need to pressurize the student toward the study

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculeum is good . The Btech computer science student need better learning and study to get better future and they provide normal learning of computer languages like c/c++ , python , java and data structure in all languages

Difficultly level is morderate of all the exams of seasonal and semester which done after every one month gap with each and semester has Gap of every 3-4 months. Teaching method is morderate. exam checking is morderate .

Gurugram University: The Ultimate Review

Likes

The admission process was really smooth.
The professors are very helping and knowledgeable.
There are many clubs and activities in the university.

Dislikes

The campus is the biggest factor that i disliked in this college.
This university has very low campus placement rates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Gurugram University is way ahead of its counterparts in case of curriculum modification. The syllabus of the Btech course is quite relevent as per indusrty norms. The professors here are very supportive and knowledgable in their respective fileds.

My Regards for my University

Likes

University has multiple playing areas like cricket pitches, Basketball Ground, Volleyball Ground etc
Location is pretty fine as it's a little on the outskirts but kinda on the order of the city
The faculties are pretty good and some teachers are better

Dislikes

Small Campus but not much issue as the new one is being built
Not much bigger ground and the seems like more of a garden than a ground

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Internet of Things specialisation. As it's a new and growing field , it's quite safe to choose it but ofcourse I have go work on my skills as well. Rest assured the labs are pretty descent with well covered internet connection. Yeah, the components present in the labs other than Computer Labs are not well present in sufficient amount and I hope the administration will work on it

Likes

I liked the faculty which was very much helpful.
I liked Labs where all the equipment was in good condition.
I liked the infrastructure as it was continuously renovated.

Dislikes

I disliked that the gates were closed for student.
I disliked that you were not allowed to visit library during lectures
I disliked that they were more concentrated on studies and very less on sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum of my course includes both computer and electronics subjects which gives a wide range of knowledge. The Curriculum somewhat prepares for real world applications. It can be improved by focusing on more real-world applications.

Manageable and good

Likes

I liked the labs as the equipment was well maintained and they also have a ios development lab
I also liked the classrooms as they are not too packed which can make it uneasy for me
The extra curricular activities are also fun as everyone gets to participate and have fun

Dislikes

The doors get closed after 9'o'clock and only open in lunch or at dispersal
Not all floors are air conditioned and only fans are available on upper floors

Placement Experience:

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

A Honest Review By a Average Student

Likes

I liked their faculty. Teachers are very cooperative
Also, hardware equipments are provided for free

Dislikes

You can't bunk the classes.very strict supervision
You need to submit application for everything you want to do.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college is good like for computer branches 60% of students gets placed.also for electronics branch, placements are there but most of them get off campus placements. Also, internships are there for experience.

DCE- A pal or foe?

Likes

Faculty. The faculty is very familiar and is very keen to work with you
Labs. The labs are up to date and you can get permission to work in the labs easily.
Ground. Good ground to hangout after you get bored.

Dislikes

Attendance. 75% attendance is compulsory which makes it difficult to take off.
Transport. It is hard to reach college without the college bus and no transport directly takes you there.
Canteen. The canteen is not much good to have food or to kill your hunger.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.
