SBU BALLB {Hons.} : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The Law Faculty at the university is quite new, and while the staff is friendly and cooperative, some faculty members lack teaching experience, which can lead to inconsistencies in the pace of instruction. The course includes four exams annually, with both Mid Semester and End Semester exams, but students have found passing challenging due to gaps in subject knowledge. The curriculum aligns with the BAR council's guidelines, ensuring its relevance, but variations in teaching styles can affect student comprehension.

As the law course is new, there is no placement data yet for its graduates; however, other departments have seen successful placements for seniors. Students are eligible for placements in their final year. Admissions start in early July, and classes begin by mid-August, requiring a registration fee of 10,000 prior to admission confirmation. Students who scored above 70% in their 12th board exams receive a 10% fee reduction for the first semester.

The tuition fee stands at 30,000, with additional charges such as a 2,000 development fee, a 2,000 exam fee, and a 1,100 ICT fee. An optional bus service is available for an extra 8,000. Most students pay these fees unless their attendance is below 75%, which incurs a penalty. Scholarships are offered to students from financially weaker backgrounds to support their education.
