IIITDM Jabalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester which contains internships and those can be converted to full-time opportunities. Also from the 7th semester students can participate in the companies which offer PPO with internships, or Direct full-time jobs. Around 75% of students are placed in the year 2024. The average package according to the placement cell is 19lpa, and the highest as 1.1cr, we have to note one point that these packages mentioned by the placement cell include offers from off campus also.

After 6th sem, one is eligible for the campus placements. This year 2023-2024 placements were affected because of the recession and that was on the global level and every placement was affected throughout every college be it the IITs. The highest international package this year was 122 LPA from CSE while the domestic being 110 LPA from ECE. Percentage of students placed- 64%. Around 290 offers were there from the companies this year.

placements and internship opportunities are there in the collge.you are eligible for internship from 3rd year. most of the well known companies visit the campus like flipkart,amazon,cognizant,infosys,accenture etc. more than 350 offers are made last year by more than 100 companies.

Student are mostly eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year or after end of 6 semesters except of few who get in 6th semester as well. Highest package in mechanical branch was 50 l.p.a. and average would be 6-7 l.p.a

Well I am in Mechanical department . The placement are not good if you are in ME or SM you will face backlash from your seniors about placements. Don't get disheartened or depressed you can still sit in IT placements if you maintain your cgpa 8 or above and have done paid internship, created projects. You just have to remain serious and interact with your seniors, be in technical clubs, you would learn a lot in less time. Well you are always eligible for core placement and can also prepare for GATE exams.

Palcements are their but it is available in less amount as after COVID placement of the colllege have been reduced but placement cell is working they are trying thier bust to create more placement opportunities

The placements in our campus are quite amazing as there is an effective placement cell commetie is quite good and never fail to get placement offers from good companies And the avarage placement package in our campus is around 27 lpa

In 2022 and before, the placements were so good, in 2023 we dont have actual information, we are waiting. We hope soo they are good. personality development classes and .. etc are being taken to do good in placements

Generally form 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.The companies visited are Accenture,adani group,Amazon,exl services, Flipkart,info edge ltd.,Infosys Intel oracle,etc.The no.of offers made in 2022 was 450+ and in 2023 was 350+.The highest package as of 2023 was INR 82lpa(UG)and average package as of 2023 was INR 21.63lpa(UG).The percentage of students getting placed is 74.2% as of 2023.

Campus Placements are good and 80 per cent of students will be placed every year in this college with an average package of 22 lakhs per annum. Other internships are also options for getting placed in this college
