Placement Experience:
After the 6th semester, students can get placement through their college.
Multiple multinational companies visit the campus every year. Some of the most popular are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Barclays, L & T, TCS, Ford, Johnson & Co., HUL, etc.
The highest package for SRM placement is 1 crore, whereas the average package is around 7-8 lakh per year.
About 90% of students are placed in reputed organizations throughout the country.

For placements, 7th-semester students are eligible only if all the backlogs are cleared if not that student will not be allowed to the placements. The minimum package we can expect is 4 lakhs and the maximum depends on our own talent. The highest package is 33 lakhs in my department. Mostly 80% of students will be placed. The internships offers will start from the 3rd year for CSE students. There are many companies visiting yearly but the average offers will be like 6-7 lakhs per annum. The highest package is 30 lakhs per annum in 2020. My plan is to get a dream offer with a decent package.

Remarks:
I wanted to get out of my city and live outside my comfort zone. Plus it offers a lot of specialization across different field. Plus this was the only college I cleared entrance exam for. It has huge auditorium which can accommodate 3500+ students. That is huge.

Remarks:
In my time it was a renowned college of south India with good percentage of Placements and very attractive Infrastructure. Some bad aspect which I found after joining the college was the quality of faculties was not good and the college use to take lot of exams. The admission process was very simple. SRM conducts its own test and according to rank you are called for counselling to select your prefferef branch, if available. My counselling date was 14th May 2016 and usually the counselling happens in May only.
