Remarks
To join we need to take an entrance exam. Based on this exam we will be able to decide on the course. We can this exam application on the official srm website and we can directly apply after the exam we will receive a mail to check the results. The improvements that are seen in the admission process is they will start early many states students will not get their intermediate results by that time
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and communication engineering because I was interested in the core side so I took ECE. The faculty of ECE are highly talented, the way they teach is super and especially in some subjects like EMT, and control system the way they taught was super. No one failed in this subject in my class. My class strength is 53. It is very easy to clear all the exams without any backlogs.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offered internships with Stifund and after internships offered jobs also. Mainly HIGHRADIUS, mu signal. Delloite etc. These companies provided internships at the start of the 7th semester itself. For placements, we will special training from the college.
Placement Experience
For placements, 7th-semester students are eligible only if all the backlogs are cleared if not that student will not be allowed to the placements. The minimum package we can expect is 4 lakhs and the maximum depends on our own talent. The highest package is 33 lakhs in my department. Mostly 80% of students will be placed. My plan after getting my degree is to go, master
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study per is 2 laks per annum which means for 2 semesters. The scholarships are provided only to the students who score top marks in the class. We can do part-time jobs on the campus itself for 15k per month by working 3 hours a day.
Campus Life
The fest that is celebrated once a year for all departments is ARUS. It is one of the big events. In the library, we can have a wide range of books to read. The college has NSS groups and many sports clubs are there and also anti-ragging cell is available in the college which is strictly monitoring the students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees per year are 1,20,000. Which includes rooms, food, internet facility. The food includes 4 times nonveg in a week. If we want live outside of the college we can stay nearby pg's and also we can rent a flat which is easily available at a walkable distance.
