Campus placement starts from the 6th semester and students are placed in various MNCs as per their skills. The average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 46LPA. 98% of the students get placed. After getting the degree I am planning to study further from this university.
Student can apply for internships from 2nd year. Placement starts from 6th sem (3rd year) for students who opted for them. Average package: 2-4 la p.a. Highest package: 10la p.a (baries every year). Placed students: almost all (98% of students get placed, this rat has been consistent for the past 5 years. I also plan to sit for placements to gain work exposure from 6th sem.
As i have only just joined the college i have not reached the stage of employment or placement but according to my peers, the placement options are fairly satisfactory about 75% have been able to get a good enough job.
I chose the college due to the following factors-
- Good infrastructure
- More than 80% placement
- Decent fee structure
- Hostel facilities - Hospital in campus
- Ragging-free campus
- Market and other facilities available very close
- Easy commutation from clolege to the city
Close to my home town, good infrastructure, decent hostel facility, offered Biotechnology without having maths in 12th standard
I opted for Biotech because I am interested in the field of Biology and I did not want to opt for medical field, so I felt this was a good option
I chose SRM because of its 100% placement guarantee and good infrastructure which I had checked on the website. One of my seniors was studying there and he appreciated the college saying that there are many good clubs, events and opportunities to help in growth and development. The campus was very promising with students from all parts of India and a huge number of staff and students. I also liked the anti ragging policies which were mentioned in the brochure.
I chose CSE because it is the most popular field and I was interested in coding since school days.
I always wanted to try out new things in technology and thus this stream. The college gives us hands on experience of new technologies. I also wanted to leave my state, so that I can adjust myself in different situations among different people. I basically wanted to come out of my comfort zone.
