An overview about SRM University Ramapuram

I've opted this university mainly because of the distance which was near to my home. SRM is a leading south indian brand and has very good infrastructure and placement opportunities. This branch Ramapuram is located in the centre of the city. You'll get access to anywhere at anytime. The subjects in this college is easy compared to the 12th STD syllabus. Pressure free scenario and easy learning. Staffs will be very kind and friendly. Many clubs to improve your soft and hard skills. Pros: 1. Pressure free 2. Easy and deep learning 3. Vibrant and fun campus 4. Foods are also good Cons: 1. Slightly higher fees

All fees (per year) here is mentioned for my current batch and the ECE Department, fees can be increased for upcoming batches: Basic Tuition Fees: 1,45,000 (SRMJEE) for management it maybe more. Book Fees: 15,000 Career Development: 25,000 Exam Fees: 2 x 3000 = 6000 Placement Training (6th Sem): 10,000 Lab Breakage(Compulsory): 200 For good ranks in SRMJEE exam scholarship is provided based on rank obtained, ranging from 10% to fully funded. If you maintain 90%+ attendance and 9+ CGPA you can also get scholarship.

Srm, nice college

The cost of study at srm ramapuram campus is pretty average. For ece it is 1.5 lakhs per annum so it is not too high. And there will be CDC and books fees of 35k. As I mentioned earlier I got a scholarship based on my marks. I got 94 percent in 12th so I got a 50 percent scholarship of my 1.5 lakhs. Jobs and stipend I didn't get yet because I'm still in the 3rd year.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Every year they use to increase fees by 15000/year on an average. Student of 2015 use to give 200000/year, we use to give 215000/year, and student of 2017 use to give 235000/year. Talking about scholarship top 10 students in a branch were given some cashback every year. Then there were sports scholarship, minority scholarship, and people having low income also use to get scholarships.
