Close to my home town, good infrastructure, decent hostel facility, offered Biotechnology without having maths in 12th standard I opted for Biotech because I am interested in the field of Biology and I did not want to opt for medical field, so I felt this was a good option

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are average, mostly they have concept about the subject but are not good communicators. Some of them specially my first year faculty were not very good and did not teach the concepts clearly. In fact it was very difficult for us in Biotech to study Maths and Computer subject in first year because the faculty didn't go through the basics that well. Many students have to go for improvement in Maths because of lack of good teaching.

Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are claimed to be around 80% however this percentage is very low especially in Biotechnology. Most of the students opt for higher studies due to lack of good placement opportunities. In 2014-2018 batch only 32 students out of 288 got placed from Biotech department. Students were hired in Syngene international, Saksin Life science, Zifo Tech, Think and learn, etc. The package this department are also not that high compared to those for CSE deapartemnts.

College Events

The campus life is the best part of the college. We have two major festivals Aarush and Milan but other than that also there are so many good celebrations throughout the year. We had an amazing cultural gathering on the occasion of Onam, Diwali, Navratri, Lohri and Holi. These events are very enjoyable and also are a great opportunity to relax and socialize. Almost all the students in the college participate in these events some attend the DJ Nites while others attend the technical workshops and webinars. It is a great engagement for 4 days and for these days almost all the students await throughout the year.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

4 years that changed my life

I was a Covid graduate so most exams were not being held the way they are normally done among so I appeared for all the college exams as they were held online.
