Brief explanation of SRM journey

Admission is done on the basis of SRMJEEE Exam results, which are held by SRM University itself. The exams are given online throughout the country on the same dates as specified by the university. Although students have passed their 12th and 10th with a minimum of 50% marks. The application form is available on SRM University's official website, www.srmuniversity.ac.in. although it is also available on the university campus The application fee is INR 1600 for domestic students. No reservations for any category. The admission process should be more simplified through which students who live far away from the university campus get more benefits.

I have had an interest in engineering and computers since my young age, so I decided to take CS and Engineering for my bachelor's. Faculties are well qualified and supportive of their students. They Provide late-night classes to help students with problems and questions. The average teacher-student ratio of classes is 1:40. Most of the teachers hold doctorate designations. Exams were held by university management and were taken on time through a blended process.

Internships are provided by university management from the second year onwards. The University collaborates with multiple institutions who provide internships in students' core subjects through which they can avail benefits at the time of their placements.

After the 6th semester, students can get placement through their college. Multiple multinational companies visit the campus every year. Some of the most popular are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Barclays, L & T, TCS, Ford, Johnson & Co., HUL, etc. The highest package for SRM placement is 1 crore, whereas the average package is around 7-8 lakh per year. About 90% of students are placed in reputed organizations throughout the country.

Fees were hiked by 5–10% every year. Scholarships were awarded based on students' previous academic performance. Although the university provides all the documents which are required for education loans to students if they need them.

There are multiple annual festivals organized by universities in which they invite celebrities to perform along with students. EG, SPICMACY, MILAN etc. The library is well equipped with thousands of books from different departments. Although there is a central library for everyone. Sports and extra-curricular activities are also conducted by authorities in spare time. There are multiple students who are in the CS department who run their applications and also learn coding to improvise their innovations.

Common amenities are available in rooms like bedding, chairs, tables, fans, inside washrooms, etc. SRM Mess meals are delicious. It is the loveliest part of the hostel. Hostels were allocated on a first come, first served basis.
