About IIITDM Kurnool
Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool, popularly known as IIITDM-K, was established in the year 2015 by the MHRD. The institute was formed to improve the competitiveness of Indian products in the global market by pursuing design and manufacturing-oriented engineering education. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Management Kurnool offers three specializations in the Undergraduate program, Bachelors of Technology and five specializations in the Doctoral program. The details of the courses and their eligibility are given below:
Course 1: B.Tech (CSE, EE, and ME)

Admission to undergraduate courses is based on the JEE Main Cutoff and seats are allocated by JoSAA whereas admission to doctoral courses is based on GATE/NET cutoff followed by the personal interview:

IIITDM Kurnool Scholarships
Candidates can avail scholarships based on merit and economical level. There are two kinds of scholarships can be availed by the students:
- Scholarship for SC students - B.Tech students belonging to scheduled caste and economically weaker backgrounds (annual income - INR 6 lakhs or less) will be given scholarship from the central government. For details, click: (www.scholarships.gov.in.)
- National Fellowship for ST students - B.Tech students belonging to scheduled tribe, INR 45,000 will be admissible for computer accessories, INR 3000 for Books and Stationary, and INR 2,200 for living expenses (hostelers)

I have secured nearly 94 percentile i have chosen nit trichy , nit Warangal, nit Rourkela, nit surathkal , nit calicut , nit puducherry , nit nagpur , nit Ahmedabad, and IIITDM kanchipuram , iiit gwalior and more i applied but it is more beautiful vibrant campus even though above colleges rejected me but this having wonderful moments of culture and i also got many govt college in tamilnadu and many central university but it is one of the best college in india

I attempted jee mains 2024 in that i got 97 percentile and for my rank this is the one college that i have got seat in cse while comparing to other Institutions that they are private and this is the college under the central governence and mhrd.

The reason to choose this college is the placement statistics are rapidly growing than other college I got iiit kancheepuram ME and iiit jabalpur ME but I didn't went there because of the branch here I got ece and there is an scope for ece in future so I choosen this college

I was hoping to get a seat in NIT Agartala ECE but due to a rank difference of 1.5k l was unable to get it even in CSAB round 2. And after all IIIT KURNOOL isone of the 5 centrally recognized IIITs Entrance in thus college is by JEE MAINS. Cutoff would be 34k for CSE in IIIT Kurnool

The admission process is done through JEE by NTA, where eligibility is based on rank, one can secure a seat here at IIITK by securing around 60k and even less for female, SC, ST categories. Scholarships are available. Here there is only 1 midsem and end sem, and focus is much on practicals. But requires physical reporting for registering for each sem

i wrote joint entrance examination test that is all india entrance level test for enigineering.and i got 93 percentile in it i got qualified in the exam and through jossa counselling i got seat allotted.i got seat in open category.my rank is 64k and the opening rank is 75k in 2022

- The food, mess, classrooms, hostel rooms are very good and worthy the fees you pay. Since the campus is newly built

- The campus is located on the outskirts of Kurnool city. So you will be disconnected from the city life.
- The placements are bit low as compared to other IIITs. The college also does not show it transparently on the website.
Admission:
You have to appear for the JEE Main exam and need to score the required marks. After clearing the exam you have to register your candidature for JoSAA and fill in your choices. You will be alloted to the Institute as per your rank and order of preference of course. The reservation is alloted as per the Govt. of India directives. I got an ECE dual degree in CSAB round II.

A National level fellowship such as DST-INSPIRE, CSIR-UGC NETJRF , DBT JRF, ICMR JRF, ICMR JRF, GATE qualification is another essential qualification required to grab the seat at IITs. IIITDM also offers PhD courses into five specializations. Candidates with an M.Tech degree are eligible for the course. Check here to know more. IIITDM PhD
For admission to IIITDM Kurnool, you need to score a rank of 6500 minimum and the equivalent rank for the same is around 99%ile or more. Thus, admission with 68%ile is a bit difficult.
