Mbbs in sgt

Likes

The campus is really huge different blocks for different courses also availability of basketball and football courts
The teaching staff is really good and experienced
The hospital load for clinics is decent which helps in learning

Dislikes

No availability of metro nearby makes travelling difficult
Long teaching hours with no holidays (6 working days a week)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is according to NMC which is same for all medical colleges there is nothing that needs to be changed in particular as it is uniform throughout India The exams are of moderate difficulty Teaching methods can be a little more practical based

SGT UNIVERSITY, Everything you should know.

Likes

The university does not follow norms of rohtaks pgims hence has many advantages over other medical colleges plus provides transport to nearby children from delhi and ncr region
Arranges many fests and celebrates every big thing in the college very good facilities and sports team
Studies are top notch with new infrastructure and many more things which are essential

Dislikes

Vehicle parking and lack of public transportation nearby
The roads to the college are not good as it is in a backward area
Fees is a bit higher on the note so sometimes it can be expensive too looking at the lifestyle of ppl

Mbbs is a course of dreams of many people hence i chose to become a doctor to do whateve i can to contribute to this world and save lives of ppl hence i chose this course and then being practical the pay is worth it ad well

Likes

The faculty and the labs are good, experienced and expertise in their firld
The seriousness for studies they conducted regular internal assessment with sessionals, pre universities and main universities
The fests and co curriculum of the college are vibrant

Dislikes

The infrastructure it is a bit outdated and not so nice

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is both theoretical and practical. In first year we have both lecture classes as well as practical labs and dissection demos, from second year we have 2 hours additional hospital posting and the lectures and labs, for community medicine we go for regular visits to villages from 1st year only

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course. Sometimes it feels like that it is more theoritical than practical. We are supposed to cram the things that have no future importance like name of scientist etc. Exams are usually in June and December

There is a good security in the college you can't go out without your parents permission
There are good playgrounds in the college where u can play anything
There is a good patient flow in the hospital too

Dislikes

There is a lack in wifi range over the campus
There are very less good canteen which offer good food
No juice shop in the college premises present

There is a integrated teaching and smartboard study too Lots of practicals and ppt work help us to learn everything in a new and very very effective way Also timely there are some guest lectures to know level of other colleges too

Campus is not too good but ya can be said fine, hospitable to new comers
Hostel is good ,safe and proper room cleaning is provided along with playing area ,garden and gym
Faculty members are nice,helpful,supportive and cooperative except few

Dislikes

Placement of the college which is in the outskirts not socially connected ,no market area which creates prblm for hostlers as nothing to explore around
Infrastructure which can be maintained more nicely
More facilities should be provided to the medical students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though this is one of the lengthy course with vast syllabus so it is bit difficult to cop up according to the pace of teachers.Teaching method should be changed as in we should be taught on black board instead of educom and ppts.The curriculum prepares us well for real world make us aware about various scientific aspects .MBBS as a whole influenced me to choose this course.

I like the campus too much the teaching staff I like the most
The faculty is too good and very helpful
All the courses are available at one place

Dislikes

I don't like the students at all they are very selffush
I don't like the working staff they are very arrogant
I don't liek the food canteen they are very costly

In the last semester students get job The avery package is 50000-100000 The percentage of students getting the placement is 59,% I want to do Ms and job with it and after that I want to open my own clinic

Nice college but could have very high fees.

Likes

The college has good faculty members due to it's close promity to Delhi.
The college provides a platform for the discovery and moulding of Talent.
The college is keen on keeping good garden and lawn with lots of beautiful flowers and plants.

Dislikes

The fees for the course is exorbitant compared to other private Medical Colleges.
Restriction to Hostel girls ,can't go out of campus without parents permission.
Since located in rural area, there is a need to travel great distance for other facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I knew it was my calling. 150 seats were available in 2021 which was raised to 200 for 2022 admission time. Exams are conducted a regular intervals (monthly) for regular assessment.

During your mbbs study you can’t work in any hospital but after completing mbbs internship if you want you can join there in any department as a junior resident only if there is vacancy..They will pay you decent amount above 60 thousand per month
