Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Though this is one of the lengthy course with vast syllabus so it is bit difficult to cop up according to the pace of teachers.Teaching method should be changed as in we should be taught on black board instead of educom and ppts. The curriculum prepares us well for real world make us aware about various scientific aspects .MBBS as a whole influenced me to choose this course.

Internships Opportunities

5

Since I m in firat year have no info regarding it.But as per my knowledge by my seniors they have told me many interesting things about internship so I am very excited .The patient no in the hospital is good and many facilities are provided in the hospital .

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is a private university so fee structure is in lakhs .The complete cost of my education is around 90 lakhs including all charges + hostel fees.Since i m new here acc to my knowledge no scholarship is provided to any medical student ,nd have no info about other courses in this university.

Campus Life

3.5

Fests and other curricular activities are held time to time here which is the fun part of this university. All the books are available in the library but I think as there are 150 students in a batch so we go short of in issuing the books. All facilities are provided in the classroom and are well maintained.Gives good opportunity to students to take part in sports competition ,inter university competitions are held timely.

Hostel Facilities

3

We are provided with all the necessities that are needed by the student in hostel so not much problem is faced here.Meals provided are good but are repeated frequently there should be more variety in the meals and evening snacks.Hostels are costly a bit the amount should be reduced according to the facilities they provide the amount is not affordable to many students due to which they opt for pgs around .

Admission

Time consuming process,no reservation benefit as I belonged to general category. The admission process took months which can be reduced. Difficulty level, frequency and timings of exam are perfect which should be maintained the same as it is one of the important competency exam in india given by lakhs of students.

Well medical colleges are not meant for placements as most students have higher studies plan. Delhi's prestigious hospital groups do come for placements and also offer a bomb cheques to the students but of role that they might not consider.

The course is of very long duration 4.5 years but when u will look into the syllabus you will find very less. There are 19 subjects that u need to cover. And some subjects are even more than the complete syllabus of 11th and 12th. The faculty is okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.
