Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I knew it was my calling. 150 seats were available in 2021 which was raised to 200 for 2022 admission time. Exams are conducted a regular intervals (monthly) for regular assessment.
Internships Opportunities
As mandated by the National Medical Council and Haryana State Medical Board it is compulsory for students to intern in the Medical College of study for 1 year as a bond of 10 lahks was stipulated at the time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee package is 90 lakh with 18 lacs per year (except the second year as it is one and a half years). The total course duration is five and a half years ( including one year of compulsory internship).
Campus Life
The Campus gives good importance to Extracurricular and Cultural activities since the College is a hub for students from all over India. Many clubs like debate, music, and decoration play a huge role in the conducting of the events.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides two types of rooms, A/C and non A/C and hence different rates for the two options. The mess food is lacto-ovo-vegetarian type with eggs twice a week. Cooking is not allowed in rooms. P.G. facilities and apartments are found in close proximity.
Admission
As per the rules by the Government of India, admissions to the medical college for M.B.B.S. is solely based on N.E.E.T. ranking. The counselling was done by Haryana State Government in a series of rounds.
