My MBBS course is 4½ +1 year compulsory internship course. It is well regulated with guidance from MCI. We have focus on basis subjects during mbbs such as anatomy, pathology, ent, biochemistry, pharmacology, general medicine, etc. We have regular lab and practical sessions, they are very important for us and helpful for us.

We have good placement opportunities in govt hospital. As there is need to have specialisation with MBBS degree, studying further is the option for all. We have compulsory 1 year internship where We get hands-on experience working as assistants. Even with PG study We can work.

Fee structure of the college is less and is feasible for every student to pay. Fee is regulated by government. Ours is a government college, the fee for MBBS in first year is 52170 for all India quota student. We have to pay 25170 as part payment during admission.

Our college provides scholarship to students based on merit, weaker sections, and unreserved sc/st category. Student can even avail the facility of scholarship provided by State and Central governments. Loan facility is not provided by our college those who need can avail from various banks providing it.

We have less access to extracurricular activities but our college organizes during various time periods. We have national and international events celebrated, cultural festivals, symposium, guest lecture, quiz, sports championship, workshop etc. are held. Ratio of girls is little higher than boys. We have students from all India so there is no gender discrimination.

There is good hostel facility is provided in our college with good Infrastructure and facilities. We have to pay 1921 rupees per month for hostel charge. Good hygienic food and nutritious meal is provided. We have room in sharing basis, study rooms, common room is also available.

Kalpana chawla government medical college is a renowned institute in this region. I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Our college has good ratio of teachers, they are well qualified. They teach us well as MBBS needs more deep study and is a vast course. Our teachers help us in this, they have experience of teaching the course from many years and are renowned in teaching. They are well competent to teach the course.
