Ques. How does the Haryana NEET counselling process work for SGT University MBBS seats?
Ans. Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana. The process involves online registration on the DMER portal, payment of counselling fee, merit list release, choice filling, and seat allotment across multiple rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy). For Haryana State Quota seats (85%), candidates must have a Haryana domicile certificate. Seat allotment is based on NEET merit and choice preferences. After allotment, candidates must report to SGT Medical College with original documents and pay the fee to confirm admission. The entire process is expected to be completed by September 2026 for the 2026-27 batch.
