SOA University Admissions 2026

SOA University Admission for all programs is entrance-based, primarily based on the score in the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT), with some courses also accepting scores from national-level exams like JEE Main, NEET, CAT, and others.The details about SOA University Admission to its popular courses is given below.

Admission to the B.Tech course is based on JEE Main/SAAT scores, followed by university level counseling.
For MBBS and BDS, admission is based on NEET UG score, followed by counseling conducted by MCC. The counseling for medical seats at deemed to be university is centralized and candidates need not to apply to a state counseling body separately.
Admission to MBA is based on national entrance exams (CAT/XAT/CMAT) or SAAT PG conducted by the university.
Candidates applying for UG and PG courses in the disciplines of Pharmacy, Nursing, Hotel Management, Agriculture and General Science will be selected based on SAAT.

SOA University Scholarships 2026

For AY 2025, SOA University Scholarships will be granted to UG students and MTech students. These scholarships are granted based on various criteria. All other details are given below.

SOA University UG Scholarships: Undergraduate students admitted from Admission year 2025-2026 through a nationally recognized entrance examination and securing a minimum Overall of 80% marks in both 10th and +2 board exams (or equivalent) will be eligible for a monetary scholarship of INR 35,000 PA for the entire normalized and prescribed length of their UG course. Students eligible for this scholarship must continue to secure a minimum CGPA of 8.0 without any backlog to continue to be eligible for the annual SOA undergraduate scholarship.

SOA University MTech Stipend: MTech students admitted from Admission year 2025-2026 through a nationally recognized entrance examination will be eligible for a stipend of INR 7,500 Per Month for a maximum period of two years. Students eligible for this stipend need to maintain 75% attendance for 1st year and must secure a minimum CGPA of 7.5 without any backlog and need to maintain 75% attendance to continue for 2nd year.

Ans. The competitiveness of any national entrance exam is seen as the number of students who have been offered final admission out of total students who have appeared for that entrance examination. There is no such officially published data for SAAT UG, but based on research, approx 15000-25000 students appear for the SAAT UG across the country.

SOA University fills approximately 1500-2000 seats annually across all UG courses through SAAT counseling and merit-based selection.

Likes

The faculty of this college is too much helpful and they support you to get better education.
Faculty helps you for the preparation of GATE and other competitive exams.
The campus life is too good as you can play in the sports complex block.You can play sports like Badminton,table tennis and many more games.

Dislikes

College hostel and message is not as good as you expected.The food quality is not good.
I disliked the hostel facility,the hostel specially for girls is very strict and the mess food quality is very poor.

Students become eligible for campus placement after 6th semester. Deloitte,TCS, Accenture, Mahindra, Microsoft,Gensol, Zomato and more companies come for campus placement. The highest package is 52 lakh and the average package of students is 7 lakh annually. Percentage of students getting placement is more than 80% My plan after getting the degree is that I will apply for higher education.

Admission process of the college

I did not get any rejection from other colleges.I did not take admission there because of higher course fees as compared to my college. The admission process of this college are as follows: 1.You have to give the exam of SAAT which is conducted by the college. 2.Then the marks/percentile come and you get course on the basis of marks/percentile. 3.The exam is generally not as tough as you expected.They ask you about general knowledge of computer and 12th basis questions.

Night Life

There are gym, cafeteria, library and some garden in the campus . The hostel in time for boys is 9:00 PM And hostel in time for girls is 6:00 PM Famous hangout places outside the college are there are some parks outside the college where you can hangout with friends.You can also hangout in college campus.Places like cafeteria, library are some places to hangout.

Inside ITER SOA: My Honest Campus Review

Admission:

i have got many options like KIIT,CENTURION,etc but i choose ITER SOA cause they provide better placements and their ROI is good like if u good in skills n study then sure u will get 15+lpa for sure.i dont got any rejection from any clg by the way most of faculty is IIT graduated.admission process is so simple,they ensure no students will faces problems,you have to score over 60%+ for eligible in this clg and they conduct their own exam called SAAT exam which if u got over 70+ u can easily get cse branches.overally its quite clean and nice admission process.

The surrounding and infrastructure is also very impressive and decent

Friendliness among the mates is not very pleasable and dome may find difficult to adjust

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible. No i didnt get any rejection from any college i applied. The admission process includes online application which is free of cost. Then a college admission examination called as saat with minimum cutoff of 60% . And then in campus registration for the course . Most preffered exams are saat and cuet or jee . The overall admission process is excellent

Review for Soa national institute of law. Read this before taking admission

Admission:

I had applied to symbiosis law college, Lloyd law college, Kiit law college. I got confirmed admission from symbiosis law college Noida and Hyderabad I got confirmed from lloyd and kiit as well. I think the most important factor of mine choosing this college is its fees which is quite affordable and the environment here which is quite friendly and non toxic. I just could not clear my CLAT examination. I never got rejection from the college I applied. For admission one need to 1st give CLAT or Soa conduct its own examination called SAAT you need to clear SAAT then you will get offer letter then you need to come to the college on the day given to you for admission and make the admission with the fees provided in the mail only and the methods of making payment. After payment you will get the admission and you can start your life here.

Likes

The office staffs are very communicative.
My college has a very friendly and supportive faculties. As well as we have different clubs for extracurricular activities.
It has air conditioned classrooms and the infrastructure is great.

Dislikes

It's does not provide a underground parking space, for which faculties and students have to face a lot of issues.

My college is having a good infrastructure with a large number of support staffs and the camps always has a neat and clean environment.

Dislikes

Our college is at a distance of 2 kms from the main market. The road facilities are not too good but ok enough to reach the campus.
Our college campus roads have a lots of humps on them.

In my case I found this college to be the best for me because I was finding a good Law college and this College NIRF rank is 14th. The campus when I entered looked very fascinating. The faculties and staffs were very helpful. I was guided by my relatives that this is a good college for persuing law so I applied for this college. I gave the entrance exam of SAAT and was selected in the first list that was out for the selected students. I received a mail for the date of admissions getting opened. Soon I came for my admissions and I got my admissions done. I had to submit all certificates like the school leaving certificate, 10th and 12th boards marksheet, anti-ragging certificate etc. in xerox copies with small size 5 photos of mine. Everything that was required was mentioned in the mail that was sent by the college. I had not visited any other college or institutions but I had received a offer letter from SRM University Punjab for the law course. But its was too far enough for me to travel and go for studies for such a long course of 5 years. So I choose Siksha 'O' Anusandhan collage and I never regreted for my choice.

The overall university is pretty good includes almost all the courses.The whole SOA university ranks nirf 14 in India the facility for extra curicular activity is preety much good and still expanding . The fest are very frequent in this university.
The institute campus is quite and peacefull clean . The classroom are airconditioned,clean ,include smartboard,the labs of different department are preety good and inculde all neccessary stuffs required for this course in good numbers .

Dislikes

The roads for going to collage is not good.The way is very much narrow and roads are mostly muddy during rains and dusty during summer,the collage is security is not very strict and indisciplinary activity is quite is common in this collage
The farms are far away from collage and collage provide bus for farm visit and frequency of visit is not so good and the assigment are not so practical based and the number of practical record wring is very high the students dont get time .
The campus are present in same city but still have gap of 1-5 km. Students have to travel for different events to different campus and common gathering of overall gathering of all student for any fest or event is not possible in this university.

Admission:

I applied for delhi university but it was away from my home town and i also prpared for neet where i didnt got any seat then i choose this collage caouse its Icar affilieated and approved by goverment and this collage is mainly present in bhubneswar so i dicided to choose this collage The admission process is mainly through SAAT exam and the form for this exam is relesed during march and this exam occurs in three phases and this conducted both online and offline the examination fee is five hundred the students having more than 60 percent in 12 th can apply and for reserved category its around fifty percent . Then the collage will ask for security deposit for seat confirmation after the candidate clears the SAAT exam.Then the admission processs starts .

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University, Bhubaneswar, does not offer “direct admission”. All admissions are based on the entrance examination SOA Admission Test (SAAT) or equivalent qualifying exams, followed by counselling and document verification. It also accepts national-level entrance examinations, such as the JEE Main for B.Tech and CAT/XAT for MBA. Admission to MBBS & BDS courses at SOA University is based on NEET UG score.
