Positive- the area is large, there is a green environment with lots and lots of trees with a very good and well-maintained wifi network. Negative- the infrastructure is a bit old. The construction work usually proceeds very slowly plus the repair work takes a lot of time.

After completion of the diploma in Mechatronics I appeared Odisha joint entrance examination (OJEE) and secured a rank of 433. Then I've gone through online websites to find out which are the good colleges available in odisha then I choose college of engineering and technology Bhubaneswar.

College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best colleges in Odisha irrespective of the hygiene and infrastructure it has. Infrastructure and hygiene may not be that good in our college but it has some good faculties as well as good seniors and supports a lot of extra curricular activities other than studying the theoretical things that are taught in our college Tho theoretical knowledge is quite stressed in our college but I expect the college to improve soon and provide equal stress on practical and theoretical knowledge.

Recently this college has become autonomous which is a good thing in itself. Campus is huge but mostly unused. Its located at the capital city of the state, so its quite reachable and locations for leisure activities are near to the college.

The hostel accommodation facility in our college is poor though it has 2 boys hostel, which is too less to accommodate the total students who applied for the hostel and thus they need to live outside of the college and pay extra too.

Yes, my college is great yet it neglects some branches like biotechnology, Fashion technology, Mse and their placements are 2-3%. So may be better can be done by more alumini interaction and promoting college in the outside world.

Overall the college is good in comparison to some colleges in odisha. You will come across the top scholars of odisha because all the top rankers choose this college as the first option. Quality of education is good unlike the infrastructure. If you are an average student then you can also avail a placement after the degree from the college.

The campus covers the entire Techno-Campus plot and is surrounded by the training school of forest rangers and Bhubaneswar Drinking Water Supply Project Water Storage. A portion of a hill also falls within the campus. Mo Bus no. 28[9] connects the college to most of the places within the city. There are playgrounds for cricket and football and courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball and tennis, and a gym. The students' square at the centre of the academic blocks has a stage facility. There are a Syndicate Bank branch and a BSNL telecom tower on campus. The campus must be maintained properly.

Postive faculty lab workshop cocuriculm activity awesome. Same energy zairza spectrum club etc. Library and conference Hall also negative play ground transport service and some senior syllabus and college environment and canteen.

Academic is quite good here but the cultural and extracurricular activities sometimes get delayed as well as exams get delayed but syllabus and academic is always nice. Wifi helps a lot both for entertainment as well as studies.
