Placement Experience:

4th sem students become eligible for the campus placements. I don't know much details on placements as I did not join the college for placements but I have heard it is really good for computer science and electrical and communication department. The companies require the students to show a gradual increase in the CGPA like the total should be 8.5 and above 60 -70 % of students this year. There are alumni working in amazon, Linked in, Microsoft, etc After my degree, I plan to do my 2nd degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the seventh semester. There are many big names which come to PES, such as Microsoft, Intel, NVidia etc. There were about 2000 offers last year. The exact salary is not disclosed, but the highest package is upwards of 70 L. The average package in PES is about 6.5L. About 60-70% of students get placed in PES on average. I plan to work for a few years, save up money and earn a Master's Degree in a foreign country.

Remarks:

Since after completing my 12th standard, I started preparing for JEE mains examination and got 62 marks in my first attempt. Without having any another year gap, I applied in several colleges for my engineering. I opted for this college just because of its placement rates in engineering sector. The admission process in this college was totally based on the academic scores, engineering entrance exam, extra curricular activities, etc.

Remarks:

I chose this college for my BTech because PSE is second most preferred destination next to IIMB. With 6th rank in Top Private College, PSE is located the Silicon Valley of India, i.e. Bangalore. Also, it offers quality education as well as practical exposure to the industry through well-trained teachers. My admission to the college was done after getting shortlisted for the CAT scores and then clearing the Personal Interview round. But first, I had to apply for it online through the official website of the institute for which I had to pay an amount of INR 1050.

Remarks:

1. Location- Bangalore is the silicon valley of India and provides many opportunities after graduation 2. Clubs- Many technical and non technical clubs help students to look beyond books. For me, the Aerodesign club called Team Avions, helped me shape my future and interest in Aviation and sciences. 3. Admin processes are tedious and sometimes more work than required. In the Admin dept everyone is not helpful which creates a shadow of unapproachability.4. Vacations are very short and almost second to zilch. Vacations must be provided for a longer duration to help students to do various projects and internships

Remarks:

Brilliant placements, and recommended by alumni. Is a very career-oriented college. Computer science faculty is awesome. Most of the professors either have PhDs or are pursuing PhD. Good student to teacher ratio too. Term exams are easy enough if studied for, but you may face a lot of competition since 60-70% of people are very focused

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.

  • Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee.
