A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.

The faculties are very helping and welcoming
The campus is clean and vibrant and well maintained
The campus is well equipped with all the facilities including labs, several auditoriums, cafeterias etc

Dislikes

Dress code must be followed at all costs
The classes can be made more interactive rather than self study or presentation
Since there are people from many different backgrounds and cultures it might difficult for people to get along with each other.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. More offers are there for bcom and bba compared to ba. the package is also good it starts from around 2-6 LPA Companies like icici EY etc have visited and students have been placed. From 5 semester students become eligible for placements

Likes

I love the curriculum and the way the Professors make every class interesting.
I like the campus and the greenery it provides.
The sports association is a great place to showcase your skills.

Dislikes

It get too hectic with all the programs, academic and co-curricular.
The class timings get too much after a point.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd semester for internships and for permanent positions from the 5th semester. The average package is 3Lpa-4Lpa. i personally want to pursue masters, due to which i will not be eligible for placements.

KJC: A STUDENTS PERSPECTIVE

Likes

The humanities block has the best faculty , they ready to help , in all aspects.
the infrastructure , i personally like calmer atmosphere, and we the best green campus.

Dislikes

The canteens are not that great if you are looking for a college with good canteens

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course has covered most of the current relevant topics up to date, yet there can be more interactive sessions that include discussions around it. Our curriculum has also brought us new interests, during exams we have the perfect amount of study leave for us to prepare.
