First of all, I love Statistics. Also, there is a great job opportunity after reading the statistics here. A BSc in Statistics(Hons) covers a wide range of topics. The scope of the program prepares graduates for careers in data analysis, research and various other fields that require strong quantitative and analytical skills. At present, there are 9 teachers and 25 students in our year. To clear the exams you need to read class notes and books properly.

I chose the course beacuse i liked it. Faculties are pretty good and kind. Faculties are highly qualified and student friendly. Term exams are taken once before semester exams. Faculty has 38 students and number of teachers are 7

Choosing this course was due to my interest purpose as I like chemistry and want to do further studies in this subject. Faculties are good but somehow they are not so good in discussing and class taking approach as there are very limited lectures available in the time gap between two semesters. The question standard is moderate but 3rd semester is very difficult and there are very few percentage of people who actually pass in all subjects. Qualification of teachers are good but they are not so much interactive

I always wanted to study economics so I got into this college, the faculty to student ratio was 1:12. Our department was small when we had started in 2021.Now it has been renovated completely since our 2nd year. HOD had done his PhD in Environmental Economics, his teaching skills were quite good and handled the administrative workload concerning him,we also had to help him from time to time. Rest of the faculty kept of changing, except a few notable ones,most of the other teachers were good as well. Teaching was mostly done using boardwork and during covid times online classes used to happen long after they were properly regularised everywhere else. Term exams before the semesters were a breeze , if you had studied well , you would pass it flying colours.

Geology is easy than physics chemistry and maths and there has so many earth related Issues.. Those whose have Much Interest in Planet and rocks, for them it is the best carrier option... Its good for Future in job purpose

I think there is many scopes after B. Sc that's why I have chosen this course. In our department there 8:38. Qualification of faculty is Phd. Their teaching method is really modern and amazing. The exams were a bit tough and no., given by the university were not really so satisfactory compare to the satisfaction I got after giving exams.

I have the best HOD. The head of department of our collage is extraordinary I have not seen more polite teacher then him in my entire life he is not just a good teacher and brilliant person but also a very true human being

I had chosen the course because mathematics is my favorite The faculty-student ratio-2:9 All teachers are PhD degree holders and their teaching performance is mind-blowing There are 1exams in each month and the questions are moderated

Asutosh college is one of the top government college in west bengal for studying geology. There is one professor per 8 students which is quiet grreat. Professors are excellent and very helpful . Well calcutta university itself sets tough paper and has a stict review checking process

I was passionate about this course from the beginning. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:5. Exams take place every 6 months. But CU based exams are quite tough. Some faculty vacancy needs to be filled.
