- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
Dislikes
- Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
- The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

- Campus is amazing, green and vast. Halls are also good and connectivity is amazing. Only cycles are allowed for undergraduate students.
- There is not any positive point as such, but the culture is hostels and student organisations should be revived. It was better before Covid and it is still becoming better like before.
Dislikes
- There is nothing much to be disliked about, But the companies here which came for placement and internship has provided less packages in the year 2023 but this was because of the recession which was going on worldwide.
- Architecture department is loaded, the third year is very hectic and if you are in any society or student organisations, it will surely affect your CGPA
Placement Experience:
Around 70 percent students here opt for placements, others might go for Higher studies or for business/startups. This number might decrease this year and within next few years as the Startup craze is increasing in students

- I liked the harmony in the campus as it is surrounded by greenery, bonding between kgpians is fantastic.
- consistent support from the seniors is outstanding as they set up meetings with freshers. they teach us the culture of IITKGP.
Dislikes
- I am pure vegetarian and we (students both veg and non veg) have our meal in same area.
- places which are outside the campus is like a village only. It does not contain any malls,cafe etc.
Placement Experience:
so if we talk about placements, then its currently not good but it does not means that placement is totally zero . it varies every year but currently its going down. so after 3rd year you can apply for internships and placements . and if you are in 1st or 2nd year then you can apply for free or paid internships to learn more and more to build you cv. Highest package offered was 2.68 crore rupees per annum and average package is around 18 - 20 lakhs rupees per annum. companies participated in last session was 61 and total offers made were 700. number of international offers were 19 (6 offers were more than 1 crore per annum). number of students placed in 2023 were 1750. popular recruiters were ITC limited, goldman, sachs, HUL . so those who dont get any job or they are not placed , they basically continue to become enterpreneur. my plans after completing my degree to become a famous architect.

- I like the exposure i could get living in country like india at this age, this place is phenomenon in terms of teching you a wide range of things in short time.
- I like the students quality with me and the quantity and variety in which they are, its the most beneficial i feel
Dislikes
- I disliked that few departments generally doesn't uphold the department change at my time, although now its not available for any new admission.
- I disliked that in few mess the quality of food isn't upto mark
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is relevant as its the college where evry department is somewhere connects with the modern demand of tech, having almost departments in a single place give you the opportunity to find what you love and want to create a new future intigrating them. Exams are after 1.5months generally and its not as much loaded in terms of other activities. The best place to learn and live in short.

- first thing that i liked most is the big campus area of IIT Kharagpur which allows student to explore as many things as you want
- there are so many societies and clubs are there to enhance your qualities such as dancing ,singing,etc
Dislikes
- things that i disliked about iit kharagpur is everything is present inside the campus there is nothing to explore outside the campus
- there is a need of proper infrastructure outside the campus too as this problem of every engineering college.
Placement Experience:
In my course from the 9th semester, student are eligible for campus placements. The companies that are coming in iit kharagpur are Google,microsoft etcin recent year there are total of 1430 offers came in iit kharagpur.the highest package for the year 2023-24 is 1 crore 64 lakhs to the student of the Department of Computer Science and engineering. about 80 to 90 percent of the student get placed every year in iit kharagpur if there is no recession. My plans after getting my degree is to take either placement or preparation for upsc.

- Clubs culture and personal level things that are improved while being part.
- Campus is very big and even no restrictions on time whenever we can go where ver we want.
Dislikes
- Sometimes being in big campus is so exhausting as well
- There is a problem of attendance some students do attendance of others as well
Placement Experience:
Being in architecture department, placement begins from ending 4th year and continue to 5th year students can apply for it. There is compulsory internship as well that is mandatory to all 4rth year student. Companies like Google, Oracle and other big companies also do visit our campus even CEO of google is also from our college

Course Curriculum Overview:
The B.Arch course curriculum at IIT Kharagpur is very vast. Faculty:Student = 1:40 All faculties aka teachers have a very strong concreate knowledge about the subject, and their teaching method is top in the the country. Over a timespan of 4months, that is 1 Semester their are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem exam and finally 1 end sem exam. Its not that hard to pass the exam, all one needs is consistency.

- I like the infrastructure of this college they gave us 1960s vibe.
- This campus is so beautiful. You can roam here without anythin.
Dislikes
- This campus is so huge. And they don't allow us to carry motorbik.
- In this college many people smoke and do illegal things.
Placement Experience:
For a one-year course you can apply for placement in 6th semester and five a five-year course you can apply in the 8th semester. In our college, more than 500+ companies come for recruitment. Everyone does here it or software.

- First thing i lole is that various numbers of opportunity you can explore here on various fields.
- Secondly you can make vood connections here will be really helpful in future.
Dislikes
- Large number of students is very depressed.
- Sometimes you can feel that tou dont have friends.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the B. Arch. Course because of it's divercity, creativity and hobby.and with that course you get a chance to come into iit here you can learn lot of things not only from your department even from other fields students. In my department faculty is very good,friendly and helpful. Here in one year we have two semesters each semester has two exams mid sem and end sem.
Likes
- Loved the campus life. The campus is huge and has many places to chill with friendships
- The professors are so chill and future oriented. Along with that very friendly with students and very down to earth
Dislikes
- The city Kharagpur particularly as it not very developed city and not very well connected with big cities too
- ACs are not allowed in halls of residence I don’t know why
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course purely because of the rank and I was getting IIT KGP which is a dream college for many. The faculty includes great profs like Joy Sen Sir, Arjun Sir, Arup Sir, and Shreyas Sir. They are world-class teachers and the learning environment is so great at IIT KGP. Two-term exams namely mid-sem and end sem along with a few class tests happen and they aren't so difficult to pass believe me. I mean you guys have cleared the world's toughest examination to reach there, the term exam is comparatively a piece of cake
Placement Experience:
The career development center at IIT Kharagpur used to organize several skill development programs on soft skills, communication skills, leadership skills. We attended some industry-oriented workshops also. We also got the opportunity to participate in the foreign training program. Both the internship opportunities and placement opportunities were provided by the CDC. The prominent recruiters were AIRBUS, Unilever, Bosch, TATA Steel, TVS Motor, IBM, Honeywell, Halma, etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs.12 LPA and average salaries of Rs.9 LPA were offered in our final placement program
