I chose Doon Business School because Dehradun is a beautiful city with a great atmosphere and a safe environment. What I like best about Doon Business School is that it is located in my home state. This is a great college where everyone gets a job after finishing their courses, and I chose MBA since I am a commerce student who completed my bachelor's degree in commerce and wanted to continue my education.

DBS is one of Dehradun's best B-schools and one of North India's top-15 private B-schools. It also has a good placement track record, with competitive packages, which made it my first option. The admissions process is merit-based. Following that, there is a group discussion and a personal interview, after which I was fortunate enough to be shortlisted. I had to go through counselling and career guidance as well.

The beautiful city of Dehradun was one of the main factors behind me wanting to study here. Apart from that, I really liked the fact that it has state of the art educational facilities supervised by highly trained and experienced coordinators and decided to apply here. The admission process is quite simple. I just had to visit the official admissions portal and fill in the application form. The registration fees was Rs 1500.

Students pursuing the final year of their degree are eligible for the placement. Some get placed before the final year of their program. Candidates also get placement through job workshops and seminars held from time to time on Campus.

DBS is one of the best B-schools in Dehradun and amongst the top-15 Private B-schools in North India. It also has a decent placement record with high packages being offered which made it my preferred choice alongside UPES which is great as well but finally comparing the ROI's I decided to apply for DBS and luckily I got in.

I first heard about DBS in my college from one of our professor who told me alot about the education quality of DBS. So I decided to do my master's from there. The admission of students is based on the 10th, 12th and national level exam marks along with the interview. I applied for my course by visiting the college itself and filled the admission form and paid the application fees of Rs.1078.

I opt for this course as I was always attracted to different terms of management. The student-faculty ratio can be measured around 40:1 which is quite good enough to have a proper interaction. The teachers maintain a healthy conversation in the classes. They always welcome our doubts in the class. When any topic needed extra weightage, they always consider it. They make study fun not a burden. The course curriculum is more based on practical knowledge in place of bookish knowledge. If you pay enough attention in class time, a little revision can make you get good grades in the exams.

The Placement at our college was good. Many companies visited our college and provided job offers to deserving students. Almost 80% of students in the previous batch got placed. The average package was Rs 6 LPA and, Rs 2.5 LPA was the lowest package offered to the students. 80% was the overall percentage of students who got placed this year. Many well-reputed companies visit our campus every year for campus placements. Students are satisfied with the placements which they get from college. And also college provides internships in the college itself if the student desires to do.

IMS is a very reputed college providing many courses one of which is MBA. The good education and placement facilities brought me to this college. I filled my application for registration of my course online. I filled my application form through the website of college and payed the application fee of Rs 1000. To apply for the college I was supposed to have scored minimum 50% in graduation (45% if reserved candidate). We also had to present our marks of CAT/ MAT/CMAT and if one was not having it then they had to sit for the UAT test organized by the university itself.

Kotak, byjus, Wipro etc are the recruiting companies in doon. around 70% of students are placed. I will do the job for 4 5 years then I will start something of my own. After the second semester and internship, you are eligible for placements
