Remarks

IMS is a very reputed college providing many courses one of which is MBA. The good education and placement facilities brought me to this college. I filled my application for registration of my course online. I filled my application form through the website of college and payed the application fee of Rs 1000. To apply for the college I was supposed to have scored minimum 50% in graduation (45% if reserved candidate). We also had to present our marks of CAT/ MAT/CMAT and if one was not having it then they had to sit for the UAT test organized by the university itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

To build my career in the field of business management I took MBA for my postgraduation. The course curriculum of the program is very well set. The faculty: student ratio of the college is 1:15. The faculty here is very experienced many of them hold a PhD degree. They are good at handling the latest technical equipments. Our term exams are held on time and are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I did an internship of 3 months as a Business development associate in Green Byte Web Private Limited. I basically looked at the sales and marketing sections. I earned a stipend of around 3,500 in total.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students are eligible for placement after their third semester. Companies visiting for campus placement are Wipro, HDFC Bank, ION Exchange, AXIS Bank etc. The roles companies offer are for HR, Management, Marketing, etc. Average pay provided by companies is Rs 5,00,000 and maximum pay is Rs 17,00,000. About 90% of the students get placed in different companies. I also plan to get my dream job through campus placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the MBA program is a bit high, but the facilities provided by the college are worth the expense. The college provides several scholarships to its students like scholarship for girl child, Scholarship for IUU Alumni etc. I have not done any campus job yet.

Campus Life

4.5

The life in the college campus is very good. There is a library, several chemistry labs, seminar halls etc. The library is full equipped with books and journals. Many events are organized every year like National seminars. Extracurricular activities are also given great importance by the institution. Clubs like music club, dance club, literacy club etc are organized and run by students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The college provides in campus hostels seperately for boys and girls. The rooms of hostel are well furnished. The students have to come to the dining hall for their food. The meals of the mess are good. Admission in hostel is done on first come first basis by the university academic cell.

Admission

The candidates who have their CAT/ MAT/ CMAT scores had to appear in the group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion and interview basically tests the personality of the candidates. I kept reading newspapers and was in touch with the ongoing incidents which helped me in group discussion.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.
