Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun provides technical as well as professional education. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs like B.A. L.L.B, B.Arch., L.L.B, BHM, MCA, etc.

The candidates need to clear the JEE Main for admission to B.Tech. program. Whereas for other courses, candidates must sit in the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination, UKSEE. GETTING TO KNOW TULA'S INSTITUTE

Admission:

I didn't applied to any other colleges for admission. I just came to dehradun for travelling and I visited the college, I liked the campus and applied for admission. There is an online test before admission and also the eligibility is that minimum marks of 60% in both 10th and 12th.

Yes i did receive a rejection from a couple of colleges i applied to.i believe the main reason was that those programs were extreamely competitive that year . adimission process is very easy in BCA you have minimum qualification 12th with 45% .

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. Firstly to gave jee mains exam then you will apply in utu counselling then college will approve you will eligible or not if you eligible then college will inform you then you will go there and get admission. If you are sc , st and OBC so you will get some advantages in admission time . In my college you have minimum 2 lakh rank in jee mains to get admission in my college in cse branch

I applied to a few other enginnering colleges in my region that offered Btech programs . I recieved confirmed admission offers from a couple of them as well . However, I chose WIT as I felt overall learning atmosphere here aligned better with my goals for teamchnical growth and career development. The admission procedure here is simple the candidate must have completed 10+12 with physics chemistry and maths. The college accepts JEE main , state level entrance exams like UPSEE or other state technical exams and also considers direct admission based on merit depending on seat availability. And with their respective JEE rank they must apply for counselling.

The eligibility criteria for admission to BSc Courses of UTU is passed 10+2 from recognized board of education. Admission to the Bachelor courses is based on the merit in qualifying exam, that means higher the marks higher the chances.
