This university has 3 positions in India with respect to the petroleum sector. I also got the position in the program -(Applied petroleum engineering with specialization in gas). Also, the placement cell of UPES has a record 94%.

Dehradun is beautiful place to live and has a pleasant weather and scenic beauty and UPES has good placements. There are more than 18 specializations in computer science engineering. Fse is also a good branch.

Good placement and reputation of the college and beautiful place dehradun attracted. The climate was good enough. Upes campus also look quite interesting. And many specializations in course which give 100% placment in fse.

Because it has a good placement for my course and as I was looking for a university which was in my locality only and should have a good placement too. Fire and safety engineering is not available in all college and it is very interesting course and has a good future also. Teacher too are good of our college and that was also a reason. Our college has a good environment and it is also a big reason.
