UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Because it has a good placement for my course and as I was looking for a university which was in my locality only and should have a good placement too. Fire and safety engineering is not available in all college and it is very interesting course and has a good future also. Teacher too are good of our college and that was also a reason. Our college has a good environment and it is also a big reason.

I am pursuing my B.tech in Applied Petroleum Engineering from University of petroleum and Energy Studies, india. And this university is one of the best university in india for pursuing petroleum engineering and No.1 university in uttrakhand.

I want to do petroleum engineering nd its the only college which is near to my home and good for petroleum engineering.so I choose this university. Except this, location of my College, weather (24 hours), and greenery all around, especially the peace and everything is just amazing.

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The company come in month of the August. The placements in chemical branch is good with 95% usually placed every year with an average package of about 3.5Lacs and the highest package is about 9 lakhs. Company visited are PCBl, reliance, exxon mobil, igl Samsung, alembic, and many more.

The place and specialization offered. There were many driving factors like the facilities and the faculties as they are masters of their respective domain. Here you can do projects related to any domain. My journey from a shy, introvert and aloof person to an extrovert, gregarious and forthright human narrates the part UPES played in my life. The Personality Enhancement Program at UPES played an important role to raise my level of self-assurance, attitude & overall personality. We are introduced to the real world and taken for industrial visits in order to improve a learning curve and make acquaint us with the chosen sector. Through an interactive teaching methodology, SOE allows the us to explore, discover and understand various aspects of the respective core sectors.

Different from the mainstream branches. Interest in Petroleum Sector was also a driving factor. College had a reputation for good placements, they also have a huge focus on Personality Development and Soft Skills.

As it is First Indian University to be awarded 5 Stars for Academic Development and their studies. next point is they offer such a huge 94% placement record. They have various Industry alliances with big companies like IBM, Microsoft, Xebia, L&T, Tata Power, CISCO & more, offering placements and industry expertise to many students and their alumnis.

I was late in choosing college and registration for most colleges were closed and then I find this college I got admission very easily The criteria for admission was very low 60% in 12 th pcm or 60 percentile in JEE mains I got admission in early Sept almost two and half months after the academic year had begun It was in my hometown and had a transport facilities upto my house so I can have comfort of my home It had good name in the market with respect to other colleges and heard good some good reviews from known ones and also on quora It shows 100% placement in computer science which I want to opt It had a lot of specialisations, specially in the Computer Science form quite before some of which were quite new and I thought it would be good to go with specialisation instead of plain computer science degree Campus was beautiful, surrounded by scerenic beauty of nature

Due to better placement opportunities and good environment and because of my big brother as he is also present in the same university which indirectly provided me some moral support good infrastructure

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Few companies visited namely Ramco, Hitech solutions, Lutron etc. These companies selected 2 or 3 students at max with a package of 3-5 LPA. % of students getting placements were quite low in Aerospace. My plans after getting the degree are to go for an MBA and not get tricked in fake promise-making colleges like UPES DEHRADUN.
