UPES LLB Fees

The LL.B. 3-Year program at UPES School of Law has a total fee of approximately Rs. 14.35 lakhs for the full 3-year (6-semester) duration. The fee comprises tuition fees, academic services fee, and one-time other charges. Tuition fees increase progressively each year, starting at Rs. 1,56,000 per semester in Year 1 and going up to Rs. 1,76,000 per semester in Year 3. The academic services fee ranges from Rs. 53,000 to Rs. 59,000 per semester.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% marks in Class X, Class XII, and Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally.

Note: There is no ULSAT (UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test) for the 3-year LLB. Admission is purely through Personal Interview or CUET-UG score. CLAT is not applicable for the 3-year LLB at UPES.

UPES LLB Scholarships 2026

UPES offers a range of scholarships for students, though it is important to note that the LL.B. 3-Year program is specifically excluded from several entry-level scholarships. The Domicile Scholarship (25% on tuition fee per semester for Uttarakhand domicile students) and the Vijay Scholarship (for sports achievers) are available to LLB 3-Year students. The Academic Performance Scholarship (from 2nd year onwards) is also applicable. In 2023-24, UPES awarded Rs. 46 crore in scholarships benefiting 6,844 students.
