Likes
- The student life at GEU is so commanding that everyone is at liberty at GEU.
- Course is up-to-date and is revised on a regular basis depending upon the new technology that keeps coming.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Graphic Era University is Uttarakhand's gem and therefore gen stones are little expensive. We have to pay 5 lakhs every year and entire course fees will go beyond 20 lakhs as fees is hiked in final year.
Likes
- GEU has the topmost campus and slowly the campus is expanding too.
- Faculties are dynamic and they also make us work equally harder.
Dislikes
- Local students act like goons and therefore they disturb the peace and harmony which exists anyways at the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Graphic Era University's School of Engineering is one of the best school of the UNIVERSITY that charges 5 lakhs a year for engineering. For SC/ST a flat 25-40% scholarship is awarded like if the student are from Uttarakhand they will be given 40% scholarship and if they are from other state then 25% scholarship.

- Architecture of the university is pretty good
- Labs are also well maintained and available for all
Dislikes
- The ground in the university was pretty small
- The Grafest was good but small area for audiance
Fees and Financial Aid:
When I joined the university in 2019, the average sem fees was close to 1.15 lakh. But I had scholarship for the marks that i got in 12th. So my sem fees was cut down to around 1 lakh. The fees has now increased significantly in these 4-5 years you can check that on their website. If you have goy good marks in JEE as well then you'll also get scholarship benifits.
Likes
- To be honest the faculty and staff is a bit rude and not much cooperative except few teachers
- Campus life of the college is very good and the quality of social interaction is good as the college regularly hosts events etc
Dislikes
- The faculty and teaching is pretty average except few teachers who mostly focus on practical learning than theoretical
- Few of the college students are really agressive and not much cooperative
Fees and Financial Aid:
I pay about ?1,27,000 per semester and there are two semester in one year The scholarship include 1. Student development 2. Army concession 3. State concession 4. Yearly payment concession and 5. High school percentage concession
Likes
- The campus is very clean and neat , there is greenery all around and feels very refreshing to be there.
- The classes are well equipped with the modern features.
Dislikes
- The architecture doesn't allow to keep a comfort as because of the increasing number of students.
- The management by faculties for scheduling class timing and college timing is not appropriate , a lot of time gets wasted during college hours.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Yearly fee for my batch that is 21-25 was 310000 per year (approx) , which means 158000 per semester (approx) , it includes : tution fee for 158000 , one time payable amount including admission fee , enrollment fee and caution money of 10000 , 2000 , 5000 respectively. There is examination fee of 8000 , library fe of 4000 , insurance fee of 1000 , student wellfare fee for 1500 , sports fee 1000 , online portal fee 1000 and transportation fee of 2500 , this sums up for 19000 yearly and 10000 half yearly. Disocunt for Uttarakhand domicile holder is 25% on tution fee , 5 % off for defence ward , and scholarship amount on the basis of jee mains percentile and 12th percentile. Three stars because there is some amount of money included in fees that should not be added when that activity is not utilised by the student. for ex the transportation fee is cumpolsory for everyone whether that student uses it or not , etc.

- the faculty is quite helpful and helps the students with research papers and all.
- the placement is not the best but is quite good, companies are coming for in campus placement drives even in recession.
Dislikes
- the campus is not the best, specially the hill campus.
- the atmosphere of the hill campus is very bad.
Fees and Financial Aid:
the year wise fees for my course is- 1,92,037 after discount(this include the tution fees-3,48,390, examination fees-7000, library fees- 7000,examination fees-9000, sports fees-1000 , transport fees-3000 and scholarship discounts-1,79,827). scholarship/discount: 1,79,827 (domicile, academic scholarship and yearly discounts) the fees of my batchmates is nearly the same but can go upto 2,20,000. the fees is quite reasonable specially after the scholarship and discounts
Likes
- Placements are very good in our university. They are also imroving the records day by day.
- Infrastructure and campus life is also very good here. The university organizes multiple fest for the students.
Dislikes
- The fees our university is increasing on yearly basis and this affects the affordability of the course.
- The libraries still have the old stock of books, they need to use some latest books for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Our university has different fees for different courses. My course has a fees of 5 lakh. It is a bit higher fees but it is worthy. There are some additional charges for the student other than tuition fees such as registration fees, examination fees, transportation fees, online student information fees, student welfare fees and some miscellaneous fees. They provide different discounts and multiple scholarships to the students on different criteria.
Likes
- Faculties are the best of their fields with high qualifications and are well known in the tech fields.
- Placements and internships are very good here and is getting better every year. They also provide session to prepare for placements.
Dislikes
- Library has old stocks of books, the university needs to fix this problem as soon as possible.
- the faculties can provide more practical knowledge by adding industry based learning.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees of our college is 5 lakh rupees. This is a higher fees but it is worth every single rupees. There are some additional charges of the colleges, some of them are one time charges and some are annual charges. They also provide multiple scholarships and discounts to the students.
Likes
- GEHU crowns needs a thumbs up as the university has crowd from all across the indian states
- faculties too have been roped in from the best of institutions so that it makes life student easy
Dislikes
- campus is too samll and the crowd is too high so finding breathe space sometimes becomes tough
Fees and Financial Aid:
fees at gehu is 5 lakh a year and it has to be paid in two parts that is semester wise . scholarship from same state domicile student to sc/st category everything is available here .From 10% to 50% depending upon the schloarhsip one can avail scholarship whichever they qualify for
Likes
- The management as they have created such an environment that student can feel relaxed and secure inside the university premises.
- Security is there round the clock and nobody can trespass the gate after the college hours.
Dislikes
- It's probably the influence that outsiders have created by not coming to the classes regularly.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Students of Uttarakhand gets 10% flat scholarship and therefore my fees became 4.6 lakhs instead of 5 lakhs. Likewise SC/ST and other students get flat 25% scholarships. So, it's easy to bring down the high fees that University has otherwise.
