GEU Faculty

The faculty at the college is highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees such as Ph.D. or having graduated from prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. The faculty-to-student ratio varies, with some courses having a ratio of 1:50 or 1:80, and in some cases, 1:138. Faculty members are described as helpful, approachable, and supportive, often going beyond academic matters to assist with personal and career-related issues. They provide practical knowledge alongside theoretical learning and are involved in mentoring students for research and projects.

The examination system includes two exams per semester: a mid-term exam of 50 marks and an end-term exam of 100 marks, with a weightage distribution of 50% for the end-term, 25% for the mid-term, and 25% for internal assessments. However, there are some areas for improvement, such as the availability of faculty for elective courses and managing large class sizes.
