It has a sports complex- both indoor and outdoor, a large beautiful library, canopies, greenery all over, flower beds, a beautiful lake, and whatnot.
Notable brands such as cognizant, dell, amazon visit the campus for recruitments and recruit enthusiastically as they trust the snu brand and its ability to attract good talent.
You want enjoyment, placement,a perfect college life snu is for you.

Dislikes

It's relatively new hence the alumni network is still developing (not a bad thing) but for the time being there is a limited network
There is little bit chaos to choose electives.
Ragging here is completely banned and no senior even dares to do so, but in my opinion some amount of ragging should be allowed as it enhances your bond with the seniors.

Very good University

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, It offers so many courses like BTech in almost every branch and also bse and BMS but it also has masters courses like MTech and PhD Almost all faculty are from IIT. Their teaching format is also another.

One Of the Best Growing Institute

Placement Experience:

All the 4th-year students((7th semester) are allowed to sit for the campus placements. We have 350+companies visiting every year (adobe/dell/Goldman Sachs/Wipro). The highest package is 31.5lakhs and the average package is 7.8lakhs. Almost 90%students are placed. I will go for placements.

Placements are very good for the ECE & CSE batches. However other batches are improving year by year and becoming better. Life at Shiv Nadar University (Dadri) - Overview

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is good, the average package for engineers is usually ranging between the range of 7-8 lakhs with the highest package going up to 25lpa. A student is eligible to sit for campus placements from the 7th semester, proper training for the same is provided by the career development team.

after 6th semester everybody becomes eligible for campus placements. companies like TCS, HCL, Deloitte, etc. If you study properly maintain a decent cgpa you'll get a placement for sure .my plan is to prepare for govt service

after 6th semester everybody becomes eligible for campus placements. companies like tcs, hcl, delloite, etc. my plan after getting the degree i pretty simple. I either be preparing for CAT or be preparing for Mtech. Ill be doing MBA after doing a job for atleast 2 years for a better profile.

Life at Shiv Nadar University

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement begins from 3rd year. The employment partners are tcs, deloitte, cognizant, Goldman sachs, adobe and so on. The major recruitment is from Computer Science and about 97% of students are recruited. In 2018-2019 the average package was 6.28 LPA. Highest salary was 31.5 LPA. I am currently planning to pursue higher education after getting the degree.

I chose Shiv Nadar because of its academics. The college has superb academics. I have visited in college events so many time and really liked it from inside. The campus area is very big. It is located in the outer area.

The campus is very beautiful and big there are many facilities in the campus. Many sports and clubs. Good placements and job opportunities and very experienced faculties everything etc. Made me choose Shiv Nadar University.

One of my friends attended Shiv Nadar University. She loved the time she spend on campus.

Academics:

The course curriculum and grading system are designed in such a way that, you won’t be able to slack off. The campus seniors have taken a great initiative to decrease the academic load of juniors through the LASC program. Through this program, seniors teach important topics, resolve doubts and also help juniors plan out preparation strategies for examinations.

Ranking:

Shiv Nadar University ranking - It was ranked 84 by NIRF 2021.

Extra-Curricular:

As a student of SNU, you will get to take part in seminars, conferences and meet a lot of delegates. There are also many club activities. You should take part in at least one club during your time on campus.

SNU college fest, BREEZE gets better with each coming year. Friendly intercollege competitions and events are organized by the clubs of SNU.

Hostels:

There are ac and non-ac hostel accommodations. Each hostel has proper housekeeping and trash disposal facilities. Hostels also have laundry services. There are round-the-clock first-aid and medical assistance provided.

Food offered at SNU is good. You can also order in from eateries outside.

Placements:

SNU has a good placement record. During the 2021 placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered was INR 7.82 LPA and INR 24 LPA.

Overall, you can expect to have a good experience at SNU.
