Likes

College campus is a very compelling aspect in my university
Facilities are Also very readily available
Clubs are active and very fun to join in

Dislikes

The teachers have very unstable timetable
Lots of unnecessary subjects are added in my course
The amount of walking you have to do in campus

Forensic science is a very new and growing subject so it has very great value among new generation the aspects it provides are wide and the jobs it gives are well paid so I joined this course, the timing of exams are okay none the less

Likes

Campus view, greenery, fountain, sarovar.
Hostel everything is available there and mess food are hygienic.
Department in which laboratories all the instruments are available there.

Dislikes

Management of the authority, campus is not clear.
Some Faculties don't interact with students in a good manner.
Canteen foods are not hygienic and they reuse the same oil.

Course curriculum is good in my department. There is mid semester exam occurs before end semester exam but date is not well planned for the exam for tougher subject they don't give holiday. that's a reason don't get satisfying marks.

Likes

Campus infrastructure is good, library management is also good,fee structure and lab instruments is provided by them.
Hostel security is very good and all the material related to hostel is available in the shopping complex which is also present inside the campus.
Mess food is hygienic as compared to other hostel mess.

Dislikes

Campus management like grasses is overgrown, garbage is present outside the dustbin.
Administrative work is very slow, anything we want to change it takes a very long time
Exam schedule is made like unplanned there is no holiday for a tough subject

The department for biotechnology made me get admission in this college. I don't have any idea about the curriculum. The timing of exam days are like not well planned they don't give any holiday for a tougher subject.

The reality of Gautam Buddha University

Likes

I liked that faculties there were very educated and qualified. The infrastructure is beautiful.
I liked that there was one room one occupancy room at hostel.

Dislikes

You have to do a lot of walking and by lot I mean a lot. In the sun, you have to do a lot of walking. No rickshaws or cycle available.
Mess food was worst at some days and some days it is nice according to the tender.
Canteen availability is very poor and prices were very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was great and according to DBT for biotech course. MBA course was also nice but the main problem is that you have to do everything by your own. No one will help you. Exam pattern is easy.

The thing i liked the most in the university is the vast area of the university and the greenery in the university. There is a good infrastructure in gautum buddha university and the well educated faculty of every subject

Dislikes

The thing i disliked the most is the bad sports culture in our university. Our university consist each and every playground but do not have a good sports cuktyre and do not maintain the grounds

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college is quite good but the average salary paid is less as new companies come to our university. From the last semester students become elegible for campus placements . Microsoft visited in our university Highest package offered is 52 lakhs

faculty are best and very good environment
Building is perfect having an auditorium which is best part

Dislikes

AC is not working in the biotech department

campus placement are not very high but quite good because being a multi course offered university there should be more placement but here is not like that overall average placement from college but from outside people are working in microsoft etc who are the student of GBU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BTech + MTech biotechnology due to my keen interest in biology and medicine. My curriculum has 55+ subject with 2 to 3 vocational language. Our faculty is the main highlight of our course. All the professor are from renowned colleges or courses, some include IITs, NITs, some have done their own research work. They all have 10+ year of experience. Our course has 2 semesters in a year and an exam held after every 1.5 months which is not tough enough to clear or pass.

Many big companies having goodwill come here like amazon hdfc Biocon etc. we have a placement cell which helps in govt. and Pvt. Jobs and even startups. Nearly 3/4 of students or more gets placement easily. I will go to ICMR or DRDO acc to my course.

Placement Experience:

I'm not too sure about the placement thing. But the college has their own branch of members which supports the startups started by the students and I think this is a different thing in comparison to other colleges. After completing my MTech I will look for higher studies from a reputed foreign University.
